The last round I played with him, he never had to swing. He was never "away".

 

He had earned honors on the first tee for the round we were about to play.

 

He "pured" a bunker shot. From the lake.

 

He asked me what my score was, I broke down and sobbed "not good enough".

 

He drove a par 5. With a par 4. With a par 3.

 

I asked him "what's the longest putt you've made?" He asked, what's a "putt?"

 

I asked him "what's your longest drive?" He said "New York to LA, but in reverse. Twice".

 

He told me that once he shot a bird, but only because it had shot an eagle, that shot an Albatross. I asked him "what shot the Albatross ". He said, "me".

 

I asked him "who took first?" He told me there was no first, he took all places.

 

I asked him how long he hit his driver. He told me that numerical expressions ran out half way through his putting.

 

I asked him how far under his best round was. He told me 24 under 24 under. Squared

 

I told him my best round was 3 under. He told home his best round was three under too. Under zero. He said that the ground gave him three shots so as to not break the space time continuum.

 

That's all I got. But I bet he can't make hisself fart (shout out to my oldest boy!)

Let me explain, the slow playing threesome introduced themselves as Par, Birdie, and Eagle when we caught up to them. He was not amused.

On the tee on a par three he tells his caddy to give him his 6i. His caddy looks at it wrong and hands him his 9. That's why he was 16ft out. Oh well, he needed to make a birdie at some point in the round. 35 under isn't too bad and everyone has an off day. He makes up for it the next day by going 37 under. While caddying for himself.

He outdrove me by 80 yards on a par 3 when I hit my shot of the round to stick it inside 2'. He still won the skin. And I didn't miss the putt.

When I tell him that I can hit a 3i 300+ yards he asks me to prove it. I do so, a true shot to be proud of. He then pulls out his putter and makes a tricky downhiller from 388 yards. He walks it in the entire way.
