Best driver to hit fades

I found the 2016 M2 to be very fade biased in my hands. Agree with higher lofted driver turned down to open up the face as well.

A fade starts left of the target and curves right. This requires an out to in swing path with the club face closed to the target but open to the path. Why would you want to open up the face?

R15 430 tp is difficult to draw imo and seemed fade ready.

I'm convinced it's the swing. I got a driver with a pretty stiff shaft, opened the face and set the weights up for a fade, yet, still managed to hook the **** out of the ball.

At higher loft the TM R15 430 is ideally suited for it. Put the weights set to fade and watch the ball fly high and slightly right to left. I prefer to crank it down, move the weights to the hosel, and smoke a low drive. As a high ball hitter (doesn't even begin to describe) I'd go with 4* of loft if I could. Without specially ordering a 599.99 club.

Same issue as the other poster. A fade has a face closed to the target at impact (the face is open to the path, not the target). How does getting an open face help you hit a fade? An open-faced driver makes it more difficult to hit a fade because it doesn't change path and starts the ball right of the target (a fade starts left of the target).

816dbd, ltd pro (very flat lie angle), 915 d4 is also very fade biased IMO for current models off the shelf. There's tons of tour issued taylormades that are very fade biased r11s being one of the most I've played. You can always stick some hotmelt in the toe of the club this will help as well.

A bit old, but the Cleveland Classic 310 is as anti left as you can get. I hit a natural draw with driver and I was getting nothing but fades out of the 310.

That's a really good point. Never thought of that. Glad I posted up. The face will still be closed to the target, just not the player's aim line?

I've found that putting a midsize grip on any club with a few extra wraps helps me fade the ball. But it's mostly swing.

I have a 10.5* Epic that is supposedly a fader that I open to 9.5* with 1/16 oversized grips which to some should make it fade even more but I can still hit a high draw with it (when I am not missing and hitting the 40-yard blocked cut mentioned above).

Trackman does not hit fades. Swings hit fades. Blurting out canned Trackman lingo will not help this guy execute the swing. An open faced driver will setup open for those who sole the club when taking their grip. They then align themselves far enough left so that the ball launches left of the intended target and curves back to it.

The club is only going to help you so much. You appear to know how a fade is produced, you just aren't executing the proper swing to get it. Post a vid in the instructional section and the swing gurus will get you squared away.

I can second the mentions of the Ping LST drivers. I personally have been using a g30 LST for a few seasons, and I get a very reproducible slight fade from it.
