It will be the shoe that fits your feet the best. Some shoes fit wide, others are more narrow. To say that one brand is the *best* for everyone just isn't going to happen given that no two people have the same pair of feet. By all means try on all the recommended shoes and if you can wear them while hitting balls that's even better (some of the big box stores will let you hit balls in the sim while trying on shoes).

I was at the Skechers store the other day and tried on a pair of their Go Golf Pro 2 shoes. I honestly didn't think they would feel all that good but they actually did. They were really soft and cushiony. Felt like pillows around your feet. I'm not sure how they be during a round of golf, but just walking around the store, they seemed pretty good and more comfortable than my current TW14s.

I can't find anything that fits me better or are more comfortable than Ecco Biom 2s (currently have 2 pair of the GTX). I spent an hour at GG trying on all of the new shoes they had in, looking particularly for something with the BOA feature. Nothing. I liked the Ecco Cage (non-BOA because they didn't have my size) but am not sure about the spikeless system on them. I wanted to try the Footjoy SL Boa but was told they don't make it (uh, yeah, they do but the sales person was too lazy to see about getting it in). My wish would be that Ecco would make their shoes more "sporty" and less "retirement home caretaker".

I have fat, flat feet. Spikeless I prefer ECCO BIOM's. Spiked I prefer the FootJoy Countour line. Wide toe box and stable foot. (not like the new FJ's with the long narrow footbase). And as a plus, you can usually find a good deal on them. FJ that is. ECCO deals rarely exist.

I hate to be this way but it will be personal preference on what you want, conditions, terrain and type of foot you have to put in the shoe. I love my Adidas and footjoy shoes, i can walk all day in them and feel good, doesnt mean you will. you need to go and put these on at a store, then try them out and build what feels great to you.

sorry, i do love my Adidas shoes and Footjoy's.

Well... rarely exist on the BIOM line.... :)

I got a pair of the ECCO Casuals when Golfsmith was going out of business for $35... but seem to never find a deal on the BIOM hybrid's which are my favorite shoe.

+1 on Ecco. The BIOM Hybrid 2 are real good

I really had a hard time with my BIOM hybrid 2. Blisters after 9 holes. I tried 2 different sizes with no luck. These just didn't fit my feet well.

+1 for the Footjoy Pro SL

+2

Speaking from personal experience i have had issues over the last 5 years or so with shoes since being diagnosed with diabetes. The issue mainly is a result of poor circulation. It was so much of an issue that i was very conscious of it during the round and it affected my play. Basically I would have tired and sore feet all the time. i have tried Ecco, Puma, Adidas, and Footjoy over the last few years in various models. This year i took a chance on the first gen Hyperflex and i am very happy i did. These shoes right out of the box had the broken in feel and had a pretty good fit, although the toe box is a touch narrow. I would say these shoes offer a good blend of comfort and stability. So looking back i used to say my feet hurt the most after a round... now they are the body part that hurts the least. I would even say that feel a lot less tired after walking.

I will say the second best shoe i have worn in the past few years has been the Adidas Tour 360 boost. The only issue there were they were a bit more firm all over and my feet did get tired.

I really like the Puma shoes the last few years. Presently looking. Any thoughts on where to shop?

I recently bought a pair of the Titantour ignite Hi tops from ebay for $154 which is the cheapest I could find and they are incredibly comfortable. I also was able to find a coupon code for Golf Anything for the regular titantour ignites for like $45-50.
