Best 3 wood that you used 10-15 years ago?

Sonartec was amazing! Gamed several SS-03 and SS-02 heads over the years.....regret getting rid of them.

Without a doubt, Titleist 980F...still game the 17 degree 4 wood, and sometimes the 19 degree 5 wood.

Played one of the original Burner Tour Spoon and 15, Lynx Boom Boom 13, The Bubble 15 and a Mizuno a Shadow HT in the 90s

Played the original Cleveland Launcher 15 through most of the 2000s...

And then in 2008 I found this site and it was game over playing what worked...lol luckily I can build everything and do all of my own work and have some hookups or I would be in serious financial trouble...

You remember when it started, you probably thought like I did that you were going to save all kinds of money by doing you're own club work.

In reality, it makes more changes happen more frequently because you are able to do your own club work.

Having the hook up for me just means I have more/better stuff tempting me on a regular basis.

Last year I spent around $15k buying clubs and golf stuff. Out of pocket it was around $200.

Taylormade 200, my all time favorite!! I cracked the face on 3 before finding a Cleveland launcher that I liked almost as well. Still have the launcher, but have moved on to RBZ stage 2 tour.

I really loved the Taylormade 200 3 wood. I never had a V steel but I wish I had. I've always heard that they were even better. I'm back to Taylormade as a SLDR TP TS was delivered today.

I experimented with lots of clubs including an SS-03 and a Steelhead Plus but the Ashton X-1 was the one that stayed in the bag the longest.
