Anyone else catch Bruce's interview after his round? Saying the soft conditions benefitted pickers vs diggers and DJ is a picker of the ball. Bruce being Bruce once again. Every time he opens his mouth he just makes me like him less and less.7 points

I love Cam Smith's resting face expression. It is like he just saw his first girl naked in person.7 points

Bernhard Langer finishing at -3 is absolutely humbling, inspiring and perhaps the purest example of Golf IQ.6 points

I am not sure if he is intimidating anyone. The depth and quality of players today seems to contravene any intimidating tactics Brooks may engage in. It just makes him look like a bit of a tool.5 points

Agreed about the tournament not being too close. But I think the NFL impact is minimal to WRX Masters traffic. The NFL only had 6 early games this week. It also doesn't explain the light traffic Thursday - Saturday. Here's my guess at other contributing factors; - WRX has lost traffic since 2017 due to a bad upgrade. Drove away users. -Moderators zero tolerance for the antics of certain types of posting behaviors. Lets face it, controversy drives traffic. - The novelty of chatting about a tournament in real time is wearing off. - Interne5 points

I think its always cool when the #1 player in the world shows up to a major and plays like it.5 points

I don't know why he gets so much s*** on this forum. He's a cool dude. I know it's common for yuppies to lack empathy for middle and working class people but the ones here should try to develope some.5 points

True dat!! What made me a fan is that when the press, media and others were takin shots at his lifestyle when he was younger, his intellect, his choice of mate, etc., he never ever responded with anger, irritation or resentment, as many would have. He simply ignored it, said nothing and carried himself with Class & Dignity and as I see it, he's got the two Greatest Majors on earth, at least the two toughest to attain(Sam, Gregory & Rory would probably agree with me), along with a lifelong dinner invitation for the ages, and of course the right to don that5 points

So are you saying you would be fine being a prostitute in another area of the country? asking for a friend.5 points

I remember a few years back, not in the Grille, but in Tour Talk I think, there was a discussion that really got amped up when someone mentioned a low and slow takeaway. The poor guy got raked over the coals as video after video was posted of all the greats with their roughly 1 second swings form start to finish. No matter what the subject is it seems there is always the exception that sticks a fork into conventional wisdom. Thanks Sungjae, for wielding the fork.5 points

Cam Smith is making this exciting and fun. If not for him, this would be a pretty mild Masters5 points

Teevons (Tim Vaughan) posted pictures in the Pickers Group. He's assisting the family of a late friend of his in liquidating a sizable number of clubs. Still find it interesting all the golf stuff that peeps scrounge up. Some very nice items. And some real junk. Sometimes briefly think about chiming in, but realize it's not my place. Does make me think about all the golf stuff that I've crossed paths with in the last 7 years. Some of it with pictures, others just a memory. Most of it acquired on the cheap. If I had saved just the good stuff, wouldn't have the space to p5 points

Mine is a pull start too old Coleman brand with a Briggs and Stratton engine. Probably 30 years old. I went all the way through it about 10 years ago even put new brushes in the generator part. Crank it up 3 or 4 times a year and keep the aramature clean too. Also when I freshened up the engine I installed a Mikuni motorcycle carb better carb than Briggs made. They make those also for go kart racing and so it is a simple bolt on. The load govenour does not work but I have a manual pull cable and know where to set it without over revving and blowing it up. In 20 years here we have never lost po5 points

I think that was Timmy V from Florida that had the van full of clubs on PGS--- But you know him too from the Classics Forum ---- If teevons posted I did not see that one.5 points

So I got some time with both drivers on the sim today. I used a Ping Tour 65 stiff that plays at 45.25” in both drivers, definitely not what I would be using but it’s what I have to work with at the moment. Tried to make smooth swings as not to over power the shaft. First 2 sets of data are with both drivers set at standard 9* loft settings and CG shifter in neutral position. Driver 1 (white) was the LST and driver 2 (orange) was the MAX. First 2 charts are 10 shots with each showing data for each shot, 3rd chart is the averages, 4th chart is all shots plotted, and the 5th chart is the pl5 points

Interesting final round. Gotta hand something to Tiger after making that 10 on 12; then birdies 5 of the last 6 holes. He never quits on a round. Congrats to DJ on his record setting performance and win!4 points
