  1. Brooks needs to figure out when to just say nothing. Disappointed and pissed off is not a time to open up to reporters.

  4. Come on man it's history being made on the last hole. While they shouldn't be mugging Phil, following him up to the green is pretty cool.

  13. Well, last Sunday I broke 70. Birdied 17 & 18 to shoot 69. First time in 6-7 years. That wasn’t the best part of the week though. I played the following Tuesday and had my third Ace. Here is the kicker. It happened at my home club Mirabel here in Scottsdale on #5, a 305 yard par 4. I’m still pretty shocked. I actually did with a set up of the AutoFlex SF505X with a Maverick Sub Zero head. I credit my new CNCPT irons for the 69. What a week and the fact that I’m 54 I’ve got to enjoy this while I can LoL!

  18. No, Tiger looked like he would never even play golf again for a while, much less win a tournament, much less a major. Side note, I love seeing Fowler come out to watch all these historic moments as they happen throughout his own career, you can tell he just loves golf and watching his fellow competitors have success as well. Very appreciative of the history of the game.

  26. When comparing eras, people on this site (and Chamblee)often confuse best record with best player. You can say some guys from long ago have a better “record” but no sane person can make a convincing argument that they were a better “golfer” There are literally 100000 people playing golf right now that are better golfers than young Tom Morris ever was. The guy couldn’t break 80 if his life depended on it. Him winning three British Open‘s in a row is the equivalent of some kid winning three Moose Jaw city juniors in today’s time. Somehow all of

  27. My area thrift stores must have insider trading, by the time I get a chance to browse all that is typically left are singles wedged in a barrel. Yesterday however while purusing the wife's FB account, I typed 'golf' in the local marketplace. Traveled a bit and this is what came home:. I post this in that others maybe like me are close to giving up the hunt. Dreams can come true, a set of Apex Grinds with iron covers on, an Eye 2 which immediately went into the classic play bag, the first (?) $500 driver and a Wilson 8802 look-a-like. All for a $35 asking p

  42. A few years back my friends son was battling brain cancer and he got a wish through the Make-a-Wish foundation. He chose to go to the Masters. When Streelman heard this story he had the kid caddie for him in the Par 3 tournament and hosted the family. I know he’s not the most well known guy out there but I know I’ll always be pulling for him after that and hope he plays well tomorrow. (the son is also now doing well, health wise, and Streelman keeps in touch).

  43. I was out there today. While the course was gettable by the scores posted, it was tricky. Pretty firm and some tricky pins. I didn’t follow the leaders. Just decided to follow golf swings. Followed Nelly’s group for a while. Just a great golf swing but she played awful. Then switched over to follow Anne Van Dam’s group. Wow....really impressive swing. But more impressive than her swing was Emma Talley playing in Van Dam’s group. Talley also has a nice swing and found the center of the club face, but, her treatment of the volunteers was top notch. So impressive, she made
