  5. “Have you ever asked what is the root of money? Money is a tool of exchange, which can’t exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that men who deal with one another must deal by trade and give value for value. Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil?” -Ayn Rand —Michael Scott ——Christosterone

  8. Let's not forget talking about how Phil didn't give him an autograph when he was a kid. It's like the guy hates everyone, then tries to find reasons after the fact to justify it. Bryson is different, and I'm sure he doesn't like Brooks after their altercation over slow play, but I don't think I've ever heard Bryson talking crap to another player via interview or other means. I don't like him getting into it with the camera guy last year, but that's really the only issue I had with him. The ant relief was pretty funny too, but hey, rules are rules. I saw Sergio get relief from a bur

Levine Broadcast Center, which gives the athletic department the ability to produce live events for streaming and television and create on-demand video. Marcoux Samaan said it was an unusual investment for the size of the program. "As we had that platform to be able to stream our games and stream our content, I thought it was really important that we had quality content,” said Marcoux Samaan, who worked with the Ivy League to secure a relationship with ESPN+. “Because our student-ath

To me it's tragic that Koepka has 4 majors when great players and ambassadors of the game have less and in some cases none. Good job he ain't made of chocolate or he'd have eaten himself long ago!

  12. I am widowed myself but I was guilty at times of taking my wife and my life for granted like everything was just fine. I was not nimble and active much in our house and she would get stressed about it at times. Sometimes I expressed my concerns to her, we never really fought for long. She was usually right and I would relent over time. I think they just want to feel appreciated and loved. And like you are an active participant in the day to day grind of taking care of a home. My wife was very active at organizing and cleaning up things and I admit I got spoiled. It is important to acknowledge

  15. Did the guy let his wife/lady friend be and let her hit the ball on her own after your pal's comments? I played today with my wife. This is the first time she has picked up a club in three years. It was a bit like pulling teeth to get her to go, especially with a lousy forecast in the cards. It poured on the way to the course, but by the time we got ourselves situated and ready to go, it was nothing more than a few spits of rain. She played really well for someone who hasn't looked at a club in that amount of time. I think I only offered her a single sug

  16. Friend of mine and I were paired up with a middle-aged couple about 30 years ago. He was coaching her on alignment, grip, stance, swing on every. single. shot. He couldn't break 90 if his life depended on it. She was a nice lady and after about 7 holes of this, my friend asked him if his wife wanted to get a pilots license, would he teach her how to fly? Naturally, he said no, he wasn't a pilot. My friend said he wasn't a golfer either, so why not get her some lessons and let her hit the ball on her own today. All you're doing is teaching her how to be a lou

  19. Hope she does well, and I have no problem with her background. In fact, for high profile positions like this, I'm not sure whether finding a maverick or going with someone that checks all the boxes is better. They deliver different things and it's really about how much risk you are willing to stomach or what you are trying to achieve (innovate, advance, etc vs. just don't screw it up). I am also glad they simply wanted the best person for the job. That should be the guiding principal in any search for any role. But the stats quoted (and the reaction) by themselves means little.

  22. Hi Men, With all due respect, so what? He makes a ton of cash, and he is responsible for using it wisely and appropriately. I hope he finds lots of charities to donate to, and spends time when he is older giving his cash away instead of buying unlimited 'toys' and stuff with it. One day he will have to answer for what he did with it, just like we all do. But his bank account doesn't affect us, and I'm not buying anything from him, so why bring it up?

  26. He was mad. He probably had steam coming out of his ears. We could see him talking to her in the cart, but he didn't say anything when it was her shot. He never said a word to us after that and stormed off after the 18th green. I don't like giving or getting unsolicited advice on the golf course or in business, except to employees and on GolfWRX!

  27. So sorry this is going on. I myself have never been married. I know my limitations which are narrow. Sounds like She has already stated what is needed. Even with that.....TALK TALK TALK. Think that would be the best medicine early on. Find out exactly what is going on, in triplicate and depth, and what She needs/thinks. Just do a lot of listening at first. If that doesn't work then a counselor is always a choice. I would forgo that though as a last resort, think you need to start this yourself on your own and see if that helps. Good luck no matter what.

  28. I took it out last night for a quick 18 (in under 3 hours ) and it flat out performed. I haven't played a putter head less than 355 grams in a loooooooong time, and this one weighs in at 340 grams. Not only did I not have any 3 putts, I didn't have a single 2nd putt longer than 18". My irons and wedges weren't doing me any favors, so it was still 31 putts, but I never broke a sweat on the putting green. Shot my all-time personal best 76.

  29. Tiger? He never said he “only cares about winning majors”. It’s the opposite, he cared about winning every time he teed it up. And he played every shot with the same prep and care whether, ”it was a 2 footer for par on a Thursday. Or a 6 footer to win a major on Sunday” Total opposite of BK. As far as media, TW has no use for the media. His play speaks loudly enough. He’s private. BK, he posts pics of himself in a thong. No more need be said there, lol And, as far as other players. TW was all business but there

  33. I've played golf left and right handed so I'll explain this and use Phil logic to back it up. Its usually shot shape (fade) dependent. 13 at Augusta sets up better for a left hander because a fade will come in softer than a draw. You can be more aggressive with your line off the tee because you have less risk of the ball chasing into the creek allowing you to get a flatter lie with the 2nd. Then the second shot the green sits at an angle so that a left aiming at the middle of the green can push it short left or pull it long right and still be on the green. If a right ha

Unfortunately, even though we are good at wasting time in all sorts of ways on here, this is one of those threads where the OP holds back pretty important info - i.e., buddy is completely uninsured. And no info about the way the alleged victims have presented their demand - i.e., through an attorney, a note with cut up letters from different newspapers, what? If this is real, only one answer left and it's been given a few times. Buddy needs to retain an attorney. No "friendly" attorney advice. He can afford $6k, he can pay for a couple hours of time (and maybe save the equiva

Ok So let’s just let all the frauds and scammers continue to go along there merry way on this site and when stuff like this happens which has become somewhat of the norm on here now we’ll just blame the other person. Mods job are to help keep this site honest reputable place to do business and when you have jokers that obviously have the track record of not being one of those members it’s time to go. It’s sad when you get banned for a week for making a mistake in your listing yet people like this don’t don’t get any consequences for there actions

  38. What kills me is this petty BS by this man child millennial type is taking away from the attention that Phil deserves as the oldest major winner in history, and one of only 4 golfers to span wins on the PGA Tour over 4 decades. A career with so many close calls during an era of Tiger dominance. I hope he wins the career grand slam but either way, super impressive.

  39. Bryson clearly has issues but I dont think he is mean spirited or a terrible person. He is just weird and not for everyone for sure. Brooks is a stuck up insecure tool who thinks he is tougher then everyone Bryson can wear and walk wherever he wants, Brooks is just uptight

  40. The sound of metal spikes on concrete is one of the most heavenly sounds on earth! Becoming less of a fan of Brooks, particularly because of the cursing. Not because I dislike cursing, but because it comes off like he's putting it in there to look like a tough guy. Kinda lame. Glad there's a feud though, this stuff is good for golf.

  42. I've been playing a lot of rounds lately with a pair of fairway woods I picked up over the winter. Unfortunately I haven't been able to track down a matching Driver and Brassie to fill out the set, but these TP Special 3/4 woods have been great on the course thus far. They may eventually get refinished to make the stampings better pronounced with paint fill, but for the time being they'll be enjoyed just the way they sit. First set of TP Specials but I can't say it'll be the last, just a great set of fairway woods all around and the 4wood grain is unbelievable.

  43. Just a word about your fitter. I think he did you a solid by not trying to sell you on some shaft or another that seemed to buy you a few yards instead of suggesting you hold off until you get your consistency issues sorted. A lot of fitters wouldn't have let that stand in the way of suggesting a $700 driver/shaft upgrade!

  45. I’m here for the Bryson hate. Not because I hate Bryson (love him) but because it’s entertaining to listen to all the cringe and jealous grown a** men in here get ruffled by his personality. By the way, if you ever listen to Bryson talk about the game, the dude absolutely loves golf and is a student of the game. If anything he’s got a child like curiosity about how he can be better. You’d think more people here would appreciate that.
