  1. currently playing a mizuno st190 and although do like it well just thinking of changing or upgrading, but keeping price reasonable. thoughts are the STZ or pxg perhaps the xf model, even though i haven't hit either yet. any comments on either or those who have hit both, any opinions? guessing from what i currently have, are there any plusses or minuses with each of these? thanks for any opinions.
  2. Yes, you are correct. It must eventually curve and go left. Guess I really should have asked was if a way inside to right downswing loses distance. Getting a correct path has always been my downfall. Luckily I can time my stall/flip well enough to play decent...just wonder how much I'm losing out on? Thanks
  3. I find I have part 1 of the drill but not part 2 where you swing to target. Will get to range and practice this
  4. Thanks, I've got that video. I'll rewatch it.
  5. Basically I need to change swing path. Always to the right, so likely I'm not getting to max speed.
  6. Somehow I'll try to post it. But in simple terms, is it faster swinging circular than straightish from the top?
  7. I tend to swing from top of backswing straight to the ball(way to the right) without really going in an arc around. how much of a speed loss am I getting by going in a straightish line without really swinging so much in a natural arc?
  8. I have a Mizuno st190 with stock Fuji Atmos 5s in it currently. Don't have any issue hitting it. I also have my shaft from an older Cobra F8, which is the aldila nv 2kxv blue 60 in stiff. what are the real differences between these two, if any really? Just wonder what I may gain if I tried the aldila in the Mizuno? Has one rec'd better reviews or are both a similar mid spin, mid flight shaft to accomodate majority of golfers. Thanks so much. I like the Mizuno st 190 but have not hit the new SZ. think i'm really missing out on anything? 10 extra yards would be nice!!
  9. 1. City, State? Florissant, Missouri 2. Handicap? not registered, but prob be 6-8 3. Current driver? Mizuno ST190 4. Why do you want to test the C721 driver? Great comments I hear plus the new tech, materials, and a better fit. 5. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt? definately 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? yes, for sure
  10. I think everyone has figured it out for me. i shorten the radius prob by doing two things. i do release right arm a bit early and it bottoms out early. to fix it, i do have to stand up and/or raise up my hands or arms but this causes the thin shots. do find it odd that i do stay down when hitting my sister's clubs and strike them real pure. i do see in my setup that i have weight on my right hip a bit and my chest is not totally centered. i will work on these things at the range this weekend. thanks for the tips, and anything else please let me know. so irritation because i hit a straight ball, but that low contact has got to cost me what, maybe 7-10 yards perhaps?
  11. I do same thing, even low contact on irons. Jus cant figure it out. I have most of Montes videos Any part of one of them addresses this?
  12. I hit many irons, even driver, low on face. Longish arms. Seems I can hit ladies lengh almost better. I believe I shorten my radius in order to not hit behind ball. Other option is stand further away and flatten lie of clubs. Which may seem more logical?
  13. currently playing mizuno st 190 driver. somewhat thinking of changing. i do like it, but not sure if i'm missing out on anything else. for perhaps roughly the same amount of money, i am kind of thinking either last year's Sim Max or the new mizuno stz. Any opinions from anyone? Haven't really seen too many comments about the new mizuno yet. I did hit someone's tm M6 a year ago and liked it a bit. thanks
  14. How awesome would this be? 1. City and State? St. Louis, Mo 2. Handicap? 5-9, nothing official 3. What ZX iron set do you want to test? combo preferable, but leaning toward zx5 3. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt? I'll find a way for sure. weather won't stop me 4. Current Iron setup? Bridgestone J40 pcb with nippon 105. would like 115 gram 5. What is the most exciting thing about the ZX irons? a buddy has last year's model. I've hit them and love them! This year's look so awesome, and from what I hear feel even better! 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes
  15. still surprised haven't seen any comments if the Mizuno stx or stz have been hit and reviewed yet. The only one i have seen was the one of the mizuno sponsored gal. when will anyone be able to hit these?
