  1. LOL, says arrival Thursday...
  2. Little more info on XF fairway & hybrid lines... https://www.golfdigest.com/story/pxg-gen4-fairway-woods--hybrids-add-forgiveness-and-rails-with-x
  3. I have Gen1 Mustang C and it's nice, but for some reason the Spitfire is catching my eye for center shaft. Upon further review, I'll probably go that route or Bat Attack over the other two. Also have a brand new Stability shaft I was eventually going to drop into the Gen1, but now I'll hold off and plop it into whichever BR I go with.
  4. Narrowed it down to Mustang, Spitfire, Bat Attack and One & Done. I don't like long aiming lines, so this eliminates mostly all the other BR putters.
  5. John is outstanding at his craft. The in-person fitting was awesome and produced the best putter I've ever owned. I ended up getting a 0418C with a stability shaft (pics are in another thread). Long putts outside 10 feet stop right by the hole or drop in. It's weighted wonderfully and my confidence with it is off the charts.
  6. There's going to be a ball shortage, well for non-wrxers that is, play the card when questioned...
  7. I'll take comparison photos when mine arrives. Their verbiage indicates face is larger & taller, but we shall see.
  8. As long as they stay away from the Houston area, I won't get served with a retail restraining order...New equipment releases, more retail stores definitely signs of a struggling company...
  9. Gen4 with AD DI 7 opened 1 1/2 to 13.5. Its a bomber! I'll open this as well. If I can get nearly same distance with a little more forgiveness, me will be very happy!
  10. Same here, will put it up against the X...
  11. Just when I thought I wasn't buying anything else for a while...Who was I trying to kid...
  12. It wasn't a Pro's ball, just an abandoned ball which made for a great exiting TV shot into a break.
  13. Maybe you should...just trying to help...Geesh!!!
  14. They might be .370 hosel bore which can take .355 taper tip with shim or tip cap or .370 shaft. Just call Ping and ask.
  15. DTC brands already are feeling the pinch. Kirkland, better yet, Costco probably has more $ and buying clout than all those companies combined. Heck, they just procured 3 cargo ships to ensure their supply chain issues are minimal compared to what everyone else is dealing with nowadays. Unfortunately, I'm willing to bet golf balls are not high on their list of importance these days and might fade away until things get back to normal. But who knows for sure, balls are still available on their website and stores are still receiving fresh pallets.
  16. Real simple to solve, (www.lostgolfballs.com)
  17. Nah, not one bit. Haven't cared about them since all their talent left for PXG.
  18. Outside of the price, and maybe a little better spin with the Pro Plus on the greens, I don't think there's much of a difference between the two balls. I could play the Vice Pro Plus, Pro & Zero and be ok with them all.
  19. Finished 3 sleeves and very happy with ball. As long as Vice Pro Plus, feels a little firmer than Vice Pro and spins nicely on greens. Durability is also on par with their current version Pro series. Whatever combination they cooked up for this ball works great. I'd recommend it for those waiting for their other two Pro lines to come back in stock.
  20. Attaboy, great sample...Glad you got out before they dropped the price and your feelings potentially get hurt...
  21. Geesh, love how this topic never dies...if you're going to get your feelings hurt buying PXG equipment because of his pricing model, then maybe you just need to stay away...They don't care about resale value nor should they...At first, pricing was to recoup start up costs...Now they're for fools willing to pay premium pricing for the newest toy when it first comes out...I've been and probably will be one of the fools and I don't care one bit when he lowers it because I'm happy with the product(s) I received as they have performed well for me...The Ping loyalist are the one who should feel offended...No justification for what they're doing with the i59 pricing and everything else going forward...
  22. Looks like some kind of chemical reaction or extensive soaking caused the issue. I have multiple PXG clubs with weights and have never seen this occur on any of those clubs. I use water and towels, maybe a nylon brush if needed, really don't need anything more than this combination.
