It's his choice if he wants to compete, then get in shape both physically and game wise, otherwise there's lots of other pros that will take your place. > > > > > > > > > > Correct me if I’

  5. 14th in career earnings...yep, slightly above average is dead on :swoon: A number which means that you’ve been consistent for a long time in the Tiger era of big purses. Very commendable, and lucrative, but 12 tour wins in 25 years is hardly earth shattering. Agreed. As I said in another thread I started about this (before seeing this one was already started) Stricker is the American version of Luke Donald Disease. And I don’t see how he gets anyone to play hard. If I was someone at that level, I certainly wouldn’t be inspired by a guy who would rather play the John Deere than the Br
  6. I don’t think you need to win a major to be captain. But I don’t think you should be skipping them for minor tournaments either. It shows how little you care. I want a captain who cares.
  7. I get that everyone here loves him, but explain to me how he is a good pick for captain. He’s basically the American version of Luke Donald Disease (google it if you don’t know what that is). I’d rather see Furyk again, at least he knows what it’s like to win a major. Stricker skipped a major to play the John Deere. I just don’t get how he inspires anyone. And why not Couples?
  8. Not that I necessarily disagree with you, but I think this sums up the problem. In your mind, he kicked the habit and was cured. But I bet if you could have asked him later in life, he would have told you that he wasn’t cured and that he was still an alcoholic despite no longer drinking.
  9. I hear you in that I am no statistician. My love for math almost died somewhere in 6th to 8th grade when I repeated the math I was allowed to learn at my own pace during the 5th grade. Luckily for me I had a teacher that was ahead of her time and allowed us to learn at our own pace which for me was 5th through 8th grade math in my fifth grade year. Unfortunately for me I spent 6th through 8th grade going over the material I had already learned in fifth grade. For better or worse it stopped my desire for learning math dead in it's tracks. I am told the following year they started carting studen
  10. What this table really tells me is that I need to find as many players with a hcp of 22 or higher and enter them in net events where I can find someone to bet with. Between those two groups it looks like they shoot at or below their hcp 50% of the time compared to 33% for hcps less than 22. That’s a huge advantage. It would almost lead one to believe that this table can’t possibly be accurate. Unless they are shooting the same scores repeatedly isn't that pretty much impossible? It cannot be 50% of the time can it? Handicap is based on best ten of last twenty. Unique circumstances to sho

  14. Competitions that matter the slightest bit would never send players out on a course with leaf covered greens. They would clear them ahead of time, probably with a leaf blower (heaven forbid).
