  3. Purchased and practiced swing at home and 30 minutes on practice range before round today. Increased Driver distance, and all clubs; easily the best ball striking round I have had. Partners kept commenting! Am excited to think about results when I can practice and get a better feel. Thanks Monte!
  4. Have seen (3) from playing partners and observed (1) other (group ahead on a par 3). Has my first, last fall after playing 58 years!
  5. Over the years have played with D1 players with + handicaps that won D1 tournaments, (couldn’t make the Pro tour). Played many times with an LPGA pro that won LPGA tournaments and had to retire, due to injury. Played with “scratch” players. Played with Vaughn Taylor in a Pro-Am. The Pros’ ball striking and short games were amazing to watch. (make it look, so easy!) The D1 players were solid, but expressed “they weren’t good enough” to get to the next level. My Mother bought me my first set of golf clubs “used” black faced MacGregor 1950’s era irons in about 1965. ( Thank goodness no 1 iron).
