  1. Draw. On the course I play 90% of my rounds on, you can get away with an overcooked draw more than a wipey fade. A fade that goes a little too much left to right will put you OB more times than not.
  2. 1. City, State? Lake Kiowa, TX 2. Handicap? 7.4 Index 3. What is your current putter? Scotty Cameron Phantom X11 4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter? Only at the PGA Superstore. 5. Why do you want to review the MEZZ.1 putter? I really liked the balance of the the 2.1 & how easy it is to keep online, but like many, couldn't pull the trigger because of the size/shape. The Blad & Blad 2 we're better, but I also didn't dig the brick on a stick look either. I've been pretty vocal they LAB needed a mid-sized option. 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes
  3. They need to release Lydia Ko's center shafted putter
  4. Nice. How did you attach the bolt that the shaft is connected to?
  5. 1. City, State? Lake Kiowa, TX 2. Handicap? 7.5 Index 3. Right or Left handed? Right 4. What is your current iron set? Honma 747P 5. How could the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo irons help you game? Hopefully the forgiveness would help me hit more greens 6. Do you agree to post a driver review on the Cleveland website? Sure, send me one of those to review as well. LOL. Will gladly post a review of the irons on the Cleveland website 7. Do you agree to take high quality photos, write an in-depth review, and be part of an on-going testing thread? Yes
  6. Give the Radspeed XB a shot. I was in the G410 LST & the XB gave me lower spin & more forgiveness. I was shocked to be honest.
  7. Demo'd the XB today and came away seriously impressed. Long & forgiving with a flat trajectory. And it sounds way better than my 410 LST. If I get the same results tomorrow, it's going in the bag.
  8. Reviving this thread rather than starting another because I may have stumbled onto a combo that somewhat tames my pin due to a Negative AOA. I demo'd the Radspeed XB 9* with the Smoke RDX Blue shaft today. Didn't have time to go to the range, so I dropped the loft down to 7.5* and swung away on the 1st tee. Long story short, I kept the ball in play even into a stiff wind & hit some bombs (for me) down wind. Only missed 3 FWs & they were all left, but playable. More pulls than hooks. The most impressive thing was how boring the flight was. Not one spinny, balloon ball that stopped in its tracks. My playing partners have seen a lot of my swing and they all agreed it was the best driving day they've ever seen from me. Going to demo it again tomorrow & if I can get close to the same performance, it's staying in the bag.
  9. Needs an alignment option that has the white line parallel to the face like the standard 2.1 alignment.
  10. Do not get the Putt Out matt. The groove that wears into the surface makes it useless
  11. I got an X 11 with pro shop credit after our member guest tourney. I like a lot about the putter, but prefer a little more weight in the head. To fix this I bought some 15g after market weights & wrench off amazon for $22. Took out the original "10g" weights & put in the replacements tonight. I weighed both sets & the after market ones were dead on 15g. The Scotty weights were only 9g each. 2g isn't much, but you'd think Scotty would at least get the weights right from the factory. Also, if I think it needs more weight, I'm just going to pack lead tape in the cavity of the weights. If I would have known the originals weren't solid, I would have just packed lead tape in them.
  12. Over a year in the bag & still loving these irons. It's so nice to stand over an iron that I'm so confident in. Perfect for my game. Distance, accuracy & forgiveness baked into a midsized head with a thin top line & little to no offset.
  13. 1. Must subscribe to Club Champion's YouTube channel. Done 2. Search for your local Club Champion location. Done 3. What Club Champion location would you get fit at? Plano, TX 4. Have you been fit for clubs before? Yes 5. What part of your bag could use a fitting? All of it to be honest, but probably driver is the most needy.

  15. 1. City, State? Lake Kiowa, TX 2. Handicap? 8.5 3. Current hybrid or fairway wood? Cobra F9 OL Hybrid & Cobra Radspeed Big Tour 4. Why do you want to test the Callaway Epic Super Hybrid? Currently game the 3,4 & 5 F9 OL and really like them, but I'd like more gap separation between the 3 & the 4. 5. Do you agree to take high quality photos, write an in-depth review, and be part of an on-going testing thread? Yes
  16. City, State? Lake Kiowa, TX Handicap? 8.5 Current hybrid? Cobra F9 OL What is important to you in a hybrid? Consistency. Both distance & accuracy Why do you want to review the Cobra KING Tec Hybrid? Currently game the 3,4 & 5 F9 OL and really like them, but I'd like more gap separation between the 3 & the 4. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes
  17. Got the same email. Sad to see our info being shared/sold by WRX to these kinds of companies.
  18. I'm switched to the 5g weights & haven't looked back. I've had a lot of success with it, but its getting some unexpected competition for its spot in the bag because I won a Scotty Phantom X 11 at the member guest this weekend.
  19. 3/4/5 one length hybrids. The rest of the bag is "normal" except the putter shaft that I bent to get an 80* lie angle.
  20. 1. City and State? Lake Kiowa, TX 2. Handicap? 8 3. Where do you practice? Range 1/2 mile from my house on my Skytrak 4. Have you used a personal launch monitor before? Yes 5. Do you have a current iOS device to use with the Ernest software? Yes 6. Do you agree to take high quality photos, write an in-depth review, and be part of an on-going testing thread? Yes
  21. Check out the pics of Brendan Steele's bag. He's got the D9 Forged 4iron in the bag. Looks like he had some grind work done on the back of the sole
  22. If Betti ever adds adjustable weights to their mallets, I'll consider buying one. Seems like an easy thing to do.
