  2. That’s good to know, thanks for the info.!
  3. First off, thank you for posting all those pics of the amazing custom finishes available through MCW. I really had my heart set on getting the TB zeros customized to make it an extra-special b-day present to myself. However, if what you are telling me is confirmed, then I’m not sure I can wait that long as I’ll not be able to play them the entire Summer and may have to go with stock MB-101s…:(
  4. I am thinking of ordering a set of Miuras through them and was wondering what the approximate turnaround times people have been quoted. Thanks!
  5. By the way, it looks like DDs charged my credit card for the Bettinardi putter I ordered through them. Does this mean the order has been filled on Bettinardi’s end and that DDs will ship it out soon?
  6. I know this has been discussed in other threads for previous TW models, but was just curious if anyone knew because I am thinking about picking up a set of the TR20 blades. As others have mentioned, it should not matter as long as quality control is up to spec, but the legend of “over 100 pairs of hands work on each head at the Sakata factory” does add a bit of cache to the ownership. I don’t know if this fact answers my own query, but I looked at the TR20 V/P models and neither said “Made in Sakata Japan” on the hosel like my old TW727m blade did.
  7. Thanks, I too was thinking of ordering without any grips at all and having IOMICs installed at my local pro shop instead. I always play my grips logo-down, so whether they are crooked or not is not an issue for me. I’m now slightly nervous about the two orders I already placed with DDs for a Mizuno wedge and a Bettinardi putter (neither was customized)... that they show up without any problems.
  8. Discount Dan’s always receives the order, checks to make sure it is correct, then ships it out to you. I’m about to put in an order with DDs for a set of Mizuno MP-20 blades, thanks to this thread I’m going to order it with whatever standard-size grip Mizuno has in stock so as to avoid the delays some WRXers have experienced.
  9. I’m planning to order through DD’s as well.

  11. I am in the market for a new FUJIKURA driver shaft and was wondering if the “Tour Van-issue”, TP-branded premium shafts (Fujikura, Mitsubishi, GraphiteDesign) are authentic/identical to the ones that retail for far more money with the actual color schemes?
