  1. Thanks for sharing! Not sure whether I hit the P7MC or why they didn't end up in the top 2 for me. How are you liking your TM combo set?
  2. That totally makes sense, and a pretty good argument for the Mizunos! Particularly when my fitter liked them the best for me anyway. And I've been taking lessons consistently as well, made a huge difference in my swing, particularly when I found the right coach who really knew what he was doing (which took a while).
  3. Thanks for the thoughtful response! And awesome to hear a response from a fellow lefty. What else are you thinking aside from the SEL? I hadn't thought about the stronger loft, I guess that probably explains why the P770s were a touch farther for me. I'm not necessarily looking to hit it a certain number at this point yet until I figure out my distances more on the SEL and in combination with the rest of my bag, but that is a good point that I hadn't thought much about. The only thing is my miss is pretty consistent to the right (hook for me since I'm a lefty), and my fitter said that he
  4. Hi all,I was fit into both the Mizuno JPX 921 SEL irons (which is a combo set of 6-GW Mizuno JPX 921 tours and then 4-5 JPX 921 Forged) and the Taylormade P770 irons. I hit both pretty well, and thought the Mizunos had a slightly better feel but the Taylormades went slightly further. Both had good spin rates and descent angles, although the Miznuo was slightly better on those factors for me. I feel pretty torn between the two, I like them both a lot looks wise. My fitter said it was a really close and tough call but that at the end of the day he would probably suggest the Mizunos for me becaus
  5. Hi all, I'm interested in purchasing a recent (past 3 years or so) used set of game improvement irons with a stiff flex shaft. I'm looking for a standard lie and length but would be open to a 1/2" long set. Thank you.
  6. Hi all, I want to experiment a bit with a 35" or 36" inch putter since I'm about 6'2" and my back hurts from putting a lot. I also want to play around a bit with various toe hangs, so that's another reason I want to play around a bit with some cheap putters. Mallet preferred, as I'm more straight-back and straight-through than swinging gate, but not sure exactly how much toe hang I want. Thank you!
  7. The real question is, how did you manage to get that video? Was he okay with it or did you just candid cam him?
  8. So this is my major problem. And i'd like to get some good suggestions/tips/fundamentals. I'm using my left shoulder (i'm a lefty, it's my back shoulder) on the downswing, and I think that its causing me to come over the top and have a slice. On my short irons I usually hit a soft little fade that doesn't have too much right to left (slicing movement) on it. On my mid irons (5 iron), I have more of a fade, but not too bad where i'm slicing it out of bounds or anything. But on my long irons, hybrids, and woods I often have a bad slice, which is worst of course on my driver. I also hook my dr
  9. So the ones i'm considering purchasing are: Golflogix, and Greenfinder. I've also seen Intelligolf, but i'm not really considering because it doesn't seem as good as the other two. So does anyone have either of these? and what can they tell me about them? Are there any other GPS apps I should consider as well? For clarity, I have a Verizon Blackberry Tour 9630.
  10. I'd love to game either. They just look so sleek and stunning! Great give away, thank you!
