  1. Does anyone have any swing weight numbers for the 699 pro irons?
  2. Southern Dunes is typically a must play. Country Club of Winter haven is private I believe, played it once a few years ago, nothing spectacular.Royal Saint Cloud has been getting a lot of high praise lately.Red Tail is a course that's a little tough to play the first time, a few fairways end sooner then they appear to. Champions gate Country Club, not the resort, is well worth looking into.
  3. Has anyone played Canterbury Woods in New Hampshire recently? Wondering what the conditions are like. Thanks
  4. Playing in CT Friday and Sunday this week.
  5. Thanks no worries about recent rain, won't be down that way till last week of October. Just trying to find a couple new courses in the area to try.
  6. Has anyone played Baytree National in Melbourne Lately? Looking for condition report, thanks.
  7. > @Imp said: > Played Swansea yesterday (aka Swampsea). 3 hours for front 9, walked off. Couldn't take it. Very wet/soggy conditions (not good when you have high bounce wedges and can't get any bounce - just cut under the ball all the time). > > --kC From Titleist Guru Bob Vokey: High bounce wedges are those with more than 10° of bounce, designed for softer turf, fluffy lies, and bunkers with soft sand.
  8. How many greens do you hit per round where you actually leave a mark. With your handicap you might average 8.5 GIR,thinking half of those probably bounce on to the green so that leaves maybe 4.times a round to fix a pitch mark if you find it. Thinking you should get at least 2 years out of a wooden tool. JMHO
