  1. There’s so many good heads out there...give the epon 505 a go. Looks good but way way way more forging and great feeling for what it is...not as dense as the Miura
  2. Yeah..,every time I post pics I always get at least 2 inquiries...I would sell them but they spark joy...
  3. Roddio has turned out the best imo..,by far...can’t kick them, just got a new set...baffy, 21 hyute...with lunar/stella...
  4. Same but I change out the no1 annually in Florida and they’re fine...
  5. Can’t kick out the 213 for 7 years now...want to try the tourspin but it’s like with the 3HT...no reason to fix what ain’t broke...
  6. Haha, laznasty... funny, i would have thought about it too though...I play those maybe twice a year....been unshafted now for 6 months...may put some sporange in them...really do like them... Those are my holy grail clubs! Is it bad that for a split second, I considered it? :cheesy:
  7. Nice condition on those. You’ll love them. I don’t play mine much but every time I do it’s like hitting the ball with a caramel apple...
  8. The grind works stuff is fantastic! Tario, nimi and kk...a modern 302, 503 and 703 r available...the grind works wedges are amazing as well...kind remind me of the chikaras only more forgiving.... Epon has been doing different things with their irons. 505s are sublime but totally diff player type than 302 target player. Not sure how u could improve the 302 for what it is***players cb **** 303 was really 401...P3 is 455 and 505 is really a 555 series iron. I honestly don’t see a true 30X series iron coming from epon for a while as they just don’t do that unless it’s a significant improvement over the previous flagship model.... I have a set of the original copper chocolate 302s that you can have if you agree to put one of my kids through undergraduate school...
  9. I’m very impressed with many of the posts here...had stopped even checking wrx for a couple years because of all the ignorant troll/bullies who seemed to be convinced that scores were dependent on gear and all hit 300+ yard drives and 200 yard 7 irons...but was surprised at how many wrx’ers now get it...gear is fun and a personal thing and people are quirky but it doesn’t take any real genius to figure out that equipment plays a very small role in overall performance... This was a fun thread, I’m back wrx, you’ve evolved posters, well done...
  10. Sweet, anyone know how they compare in size and shape to 503 and P3?
  11. I don't have to deal with it. I disagree completely with your assesment. You got it wrong, imho. I don't agree to disagree. I just disagree with you in a friendly way. And I played both, too. And in 20 yrs on forums, you are the first poster I've seen that related clicky to Miura, ALTHOUGH I've seen many posters state that Epons are clicky as to their irons. And since I owned and played Epon irons, I'll say that description is apt. Epon irons in the CB's - 5 and 7 series were clicky. And I'm not saying "clicky" is bad, and I did not say that Miura Wedges were butter, as many do. I said they were solid and dense feeling, and a lot of posters over the years have reiterated the same. So I'll go with that. It seems it is the more than majority opinion. At the same time, outliers, like yourself, have a different sense of feel - maybe it was the shaft or setup. Enjoy your Epons - nice clubs. I liked them. Most clubs these days are great - it's what fits you and what you appreciate. As to the OP, crap, you can't go by what other guys like - the grind may not fit your swing or conditions. You've got to try them in the dirt. Rrrreeerrr!,,
  12. Bravo...how is that popcorn? OP, Miura is denser, deeper feeling, crisp, slightly less forgiving. Epon is soft and deep feeling. Miura is a bit more precise, I'm just not as consistent with the c and y grind wedges I tried. The 213 has been my gamer wedge for 5 plus years...nothing can kick it out for all around performance...just one man's personal preference...
  13. Should know something soon. At first they looked odd to me but now I know I'll be giving these a run. Loving the 705s but they are just a tad too big. These look somewhere between the 303 and the P3...am thinking as long as the 705 but a bit more control, more solid feeling. The look is really growing on me!
  14. It's a really good golf ball IMO. I have been playing the chrome soft and the Volvik vibe. AVX is straighter, slightly longer and very good around the greens. CS and vibe both spin more with the lob but AVX is plenty spiny and straighter on the bump and run for me...ball really holds its line. Played 3 round with them today and hit a lot side by side compare with my other favorite balls...AVX is better IMO...noticeably so...
