  1. I will see if I can track down the Titleist Fitter. Good idea to have the swing weight tested. The shaft I bought from GlobalGolf was a 3 wood length D+80 White from a demo club (had the black & red grip which is Titleist demo). Same length and same shaft that he put in my 3 wood at the range.
  2. Maybe so but I hit the same d + white 80 on the range in my 915f (fitters shaft) and this same shaft feels totally different. It's so strange.
  3. I recently went to a Titleist Thursday event and had the fitter work with me on my current 915F 15 3 wood with the Diamana S+ 70 blue (standard 43") stiff . I liked the head but never seemed to get along with shaft (miss was always a hook). Fitter suggested the Diamana s+ 80 White (same length-stiff) due to my swing speed and ability. He had one in his fitting cart and I instantly gained better numbers and distance (15 yards) off Trackman. When we made change on the driving range, the overall set up was not much heavier and felt great. So, I went online and found the a Titleist 915 3 wood
  4. I have yet to find another 3 wood that I liked better than the Super Speedline XTD 14.5. I have a chance to pick one up again for a decent price with the original weights. However, has anyone tried to epoxy, glue, etc. on top of the toe and heel weight to prevent them for flying off?
  5. Looks like Rich Beem has PXG black irons in the bag and rolling with an old school bullseye putter. Thanks for all great pics!
  6. Oh, sorry did not see that (LH). Try 2nd swing as well. They always have a good selection of used clubs. https://www.2ndswing.com/pv-450917681-titleist-714-ap1-iron-set-4-pw-true-temper-xp-95-s300-steel-stiff-right-handed-38-in.aspx

  9. Greg, as always, thanks so much for the great pictures (especially the hole by hole course pics)! I played golf for Vandy in the late 90s and the Golf Club of TN was always my favorite track we got to play. I have not seen the course in 15 years so your pics brought back some good memories.
  10. Name: Anchor Down Description: I played golf at Vanderbilt and our new slogan of the athletic program is "Anchor Down". Additionally, you always want your lob wedge to "Anchor Down" on the green! :-) I added the wedge to the Gallery on clevelandgolf.com. Thanks for opportunity to win/customize a great set of wedges! Specs: RTG Finish with Black &Gold paint , STD length, Trailing Edge Grind, DG Black Steel -S400 with Custom Wedge Label Black, New Dec Multicpd Blk/Wht grip.
  11. Looks like Rory is still not comfortable with his Method putter. Pics of him putting with his Scotty Cameron on the putting green (nike shoes with cameron putter with RORS on the toe)?
  12. Does anyone happen to know how many inches between the tip and the start of steps on this shaft (blank shaft measures 43.5)? If not, anyone have a uncut kbs tour .370/parallel shaft laying around that they could measure? A friend gave me some pulls from a set of adams (adams a4 forged). I am trying to determine what flex by how much they were tipped. He thinks they are stiff but not sure. I have the chart from KBS on parallel tipping instructions. So, I know they are butt trimmed to final length. Many thanks!
  13. My toe weight came out as well. Local golf shop sent it in for me and got the club back in a week with a new toe weight. It does not have metal weave stuff that is glue to the bottom weight like the others. It is similar looking (very smooth) but not the same. Hope it holds up. What I found strange was Adams did not give my local Adams retailer a call tag to ship. We had to pay $10 to ship it to them to fix.
  14. My toe weight on my 14.5 xtd fairway came out on Friday. I did not realize it until after I had to hit my second 3 wood shot of they day and it felt light. Only had this weapon a couple months and maybe 8 rounds. I called Adams customer service and they said take it by a local Adams dealer and they can send it in for free repair. One of the metal strips on the middle weight is also peeling off.
