  1. I thought lighter weight shafts worked better in this head? I was considering a whiteboard 63x, or an aldila prototype x flex
  2. [quote name='gshock55' timestamp='1329437162' post='4303707'] Hi all, Still love the look of that Cobra L4Vx head. Currently has a Graman Ultimate G-Series 780 "limey" shaft. I think the flex is x-stiff. - 44.5 in ~~My stats: 5'11, 160lbs 105-107 mph SS 160 ball speed 12-13 deg launch Bout to go on a golf trip here in about a month to Myrtle and I keep thinking its time for a new driver or a better shaft. What do you guys recommend?. I feel the limey is ok, but there are so many good shafts out there now. I have an Aldila Voodoo VS

  4. any other options? who can I take them to? I found places on the net but I'm not paying 40 bones to raw each club
  5. Seriously, I have tried everything...... I tried sulfuric acid, wire wheels..... even various brushes on a bench grinder I do not have access to any other types of acids, will anything else work ? I want to raw my irons(titleist 690.mb) just like my oil can vokeys. ANY recommendations greatly appreciated Thanks guys!
  6. The graman limey 780 is nice but it feels soo boardy compared to the voodoo svs6..... The voodoo is in the titleist at the moment, can it be switched out to the cobra ? Reason I am asking is because the titleist is a bore thru and the cobra is not.... My SS = 107mph Ball Speed = 160 Carry = 275yds
  7. I just hit it......all I can say is wow! I've never seen a drive launch like that that I've hit.....that head n shaft is Money for me, my SS is 105 and ball speed of 165
  8. Please share your knowledge and experiencesPicked up an L4Vx on eBay for 100 bones.... Currently I am gaming a Titleist 905r 10.5deg with a aldila voodoo snv6 stiff. I switch between this and my Taylor Made r7 9.5deg superquad with an aldila serrano stiff. Both are 44in in length. The L4Vx has a Graman limey ultimate g-series 780 shaft in it. Length is the same at 44in, I remember hitting the L4 once and it felt very hot compared to my currents. Any comments on what I can expect from the driver/shaft combo would be greatly appreciated......thanks guys
  9. I never actually hit an upright club there, but each club had the scuff on the toe area. I am cutting the clubs down 1/2 inch, so I guess the 1.5 degrees he bent them was a waste.....I really just want the clubs to fit me. I'd like to just hit a straight ball, but when I swing more aggresively I hook everything. I want to put x100 dynamic golds in someday, it depends on how the s300 work for me. I was swinging titleist 690.mb with r300 and the draw was prominent with every shot. I know my driver ss is between 105-108, with ball speed in the upper 150s. Can't remember what my irons were.
  10. very very upright lie ?!?Has anyone ever been fitted to about 5 degrees upright? My marks were way off the toe, but it still felt like I was flushing it. My natural shot is a slight draw, so my clubfitter said he would not bend the clubs that far because I would hook the ball very badly. Isn't the point of club fitting to make the clubs more suitable for my current swing. If I draw, will too upright cause me to draw more. He bent them about 1.5 degrees and said try them thiw way for a while. I am 5'11 and he said he would cut the s300's down 1/2 inch for my height. Does all this sound
  11. Just won a bid on a like new set of mp-37s with s300........... Currently, I am gaming titleist 690.mb's with r300. They are just not very soft at all to be perfectly honest. Will the 37s be as butter soft as the mp-68's i hit about 6 months ago? From what I am hearing the mp-33s are the holy grail of mizzy's, but I could not find a set in like new condition. How will the mp-37s compare in feel to the 33s and 68s? The 68s felt like I hit a stick of butter, i don't see how a set could possibly be any softer, but I guess they are out there (miura and scratch). Also, has anyone bought a
  12. Hey guys need some help.....I hit a voodoo vs6 the other day and wow. I never felt anything like that with a driver ever. Here's where I need the help. My ss is around 105-107 pretty consistent... my ball speed is around 155 to 160. I was hitting the stiff flex, but do u guys think I can hit the x-flex? I tend to hook the bal a lot, so I figured maybe An x-flex would help against going left. I know I am borderline stiff - x-stiff anyway. Any huge differences between the nv voodoo and the vs? I really like the cosmetics on the green one... Any help appreciated thank you!
