  1. I got this driver and thought it was good but dispersion was so so. After a few rounds, went and replaced shaft (thought I would at least give the shaft a try). I put a 65 gram proforce V2 and it has made a huge difference. I love the driver now. I really think Callaway needs to evaluate what shafts they are going to stock. Previous post was right, why would you put a soft, high spin, high launch shaft in a so called better player driver? Major mis step in my opinion.

  3. I have owned titliest, Nike, and now Callaway. What I have noticed that will eventually happen in my opinion - You buy the head of the club, then pick your shaft & grip. I bought the diablo edge forged irons & they are unbelievable...I bought the diablo edge tour driver & 4 wood...good clubs but the dispersion on those shafts are horrible. They have realized that a lot of golfers replace the shaft since each person prefers different weight and stiffness. So why would they put a good shaft in it? Insteaf, let's throw the brand name Aldila around and see if that cuts the cake
  4. I just got my driver re-shafted (Diablo Edge Tour now with Proforce V2 65) and it is like night and day. The dispersion on this shaft is unbelievable. I have a 4 wood Diablo Edge with the same 60 g Stiff habanaro shaft that the driver had. At this point I would rather play my driver since the 4 wood is hit and miss. If I get it re-shafted as well, do you typically go with a heavier gram shaft on a fairway wood than your driver? Thinking of doing a 75 g V2. Why would you go with a heavier shaft in a fairway wood compared to a Driver?
  5. Prolaunch red Perforce V2 Aldila 65 Want a stiff shaft in the price range of the 3 listed. I have a diablo edge tour 10.5 and the stock Aldila habanaro is ballooning. I had a driver 4 yrs. Ago with Aldila nv and liked and my last driver had proforce v2 which l liked as well. Is there a hands down winner?
  6. I just got the DET (Diablo Edge Tour) and love it. My issue is ballooning. I have to tee it up so that the ball is barely showing above the head if I want the ball to have a penetrating ball flight. stock is stiff habanero 60g. I drive the ball about 270 on average. Any suggestions?
  7. What's your hdcp...I'm about an 11 and I love my diablo forged irons. So Mich my clubs got stolen and I bought them again. Forgiving, feel your shot and more distance.
  8. I have the diablo forged. Awesome clubs. Stronger lofts, so u will be hitting an 8 iron where u would usually be hitting a 7 iron. forgiving clubs with feel.
  9. Found it a month ago and can't find it now. It listed all the new clubs and had ratings from how they were hit from a robot arm.
  10. I demoed the diablo forged with KBS stiff today and they went 10-15 yards farther than my original diablo forged with 1100 Nippon shafts. My issue was the feel. I can feel the ball and the shot better with the Nippons. I hit almost 200 yds. with a 6 iron with KBS and was around 185 with the Nippons. Could be the KBS shafts don't jive with you personally. Longer yardage doesn't always mean better scores. You should try the diablo forged with the Nippons or KBS and see what you think.
  11. Car was stolen from Valet (guy claiming it was his car) and the valet gave it to him without a ticket. Had bought Diablo forged in March and loved them. I plan on getting them again but looking at replacing the rest of the bag. I am about a 10 hcp. I was hitting about 275 yds. with Nike driver from 2 years ago. Driver ideas? Fairway woods? Hybrids? Wedges? Putter? Had a heavy putter (old B3 version) and loved it for maintaining that pendilum swing motion...can't handle a light putter...does anyone have the new midweight putters by Heavy Putter?
  12. I recently had a question about weight shift and and I was given a simple answer posted by Tourbound - "Put a golf ball under the outside of your right foot as a drill...this will keep your weight over your right side when taking the club back without the dreaded weight shift past your right foot". It worked like a charm. Simple, yet effective. The next postings addressing this issue were good but were very analytical and if I tried to implement the "theories" I would be frozen on the course. Do we tend to think too much? Are most golfers analytical to a fault? Ricky Fowler was self ta
  13. I looked at several drills and your advice on the ball drill was awesome. I got back to hitting an 8 iron 150-160 yds. and felt good. Not one shot went a stray. I tried really hard to not move my knee once I pulled the ball out from my foot. It still becomes hard to do all the time. It's now going to be a muscle memory situation. I also tried curling the inside of my foot inward without the ball to help with this issue. I also read that your knee should stay on the inside of your right foot and that was not happening before your drill. So I have a curious and stupid question...if I
  14. They say start with weight on both legs evenly...then they say to move 80% of your weight to the inside of your right foot (yeah that's exactly how it feels) and then move your weight back to the left leg and finish 80% on the left leg. My issue lately, I sometimes hit beautiful shots and then the next shot I will either hit fat, or hit a low banana slice that goes about 50 yards. I am assuming that I am shifting my weight back to the right and then not getting to the left leg fast enough. Any drills, or ways to correct this banana slice or fat shot?
  15. The Diablo forged I have are awesome...looks don't get great reviews but have you seen the looks of the X-24's?
