1. She's going to go lefty. She's worried the field hockey swing will be messed up by golf. Her lefty swing is a bit better than her righty swing. 20211011_141856.mp4
2. Thanks for the help on this but she's going lefty mostly due to field hockey. The field hockey swing is mostly righty and is very strictive on back swing and followthrough, she's worried that the golf swing will mess with her field hockey swing and that's her highest priority right now. Is the Top-Flite set for 300ish a really bad idea? It's one of the few I can find for ladies lefties.
3. Not much taller, she's 5'2" now maybe another inch or two but that's it.
4. My daughter just asked me about playing golf, I've brought it up to her in the past but never went anywhere. Today after a softball game she asked me about playing, seems like she's just about done with softball and is looking for a spring sport. She hits lefty in softball but also plays field hockey which is strictly a right handed swing. Should she play lefty or righty? She has no issues swinging either way but is naturally right handed. She has always hit left handed in softball.
5. I hit the 6 iron today at the PGA Superstore in Paramus, when I put a decent swing on them I got nice distance and they seemed to be very straight for me. I didn't hit them as far the XCG7 irons but the lofts are different. The CB is a 30 degree, the XCG7 6 iron is 27 degree.
6. I've always thought that unless you are solidly shooting in the low 80s you belong on the whites.
7. I have 2 different CB3-Tour woods 16.5* - 4 wood has the Motore Tour white stiff shaft. I don't have the original headcover but can include an Exotics headcover from another model. Club is in very nice shape with no noticeable marks from at address. $135 $100 15* - 3 wood has an Accuflex Evolution nano composite shaft and a white golf pride tour wrap grip. Club is in really nice shape with one small mark at the toe (can't be seen at address and can only be seen when really looking for it)I don't have the original headcover but can include an Exotics headcover from another model. $125 $100 XCG-3 9* driver- has a stock motore regular shaft. I hit some very nice shots with this driver but the regular shaft doesn't quite work for me. I have the original headcover. $60 50 XLD 10.5* stock Graphite Design shaft Another driver I've hit well, but the the regular shaft isn't for me. Hits nice straight bombs. $40 30 I'm open for trading/offers. Specifically looking for a Taylor Made R11s driver. 16.5* 4wood $135 15* 3 wood $125 XCG-3 Driver $60 XLD Driver $40

Any reason why my launch angle on the simulator at Golfsmith (the newer simulators) would be so different with the Razr Fit and the R11s? My swing speed is generally right around 95 mph. With the Razr Fit, cobra amp and a few others I tended to have launch angles from 18-25 degrees. With the R11s and Mizuno MP650 I tended to be 14--17. I was hitting a 9 or 9.5 with stiff for every club.
Actual loft at the point of impact on the face of the drivers. First of all, just because a driver is imprinted with a loft number on the head in no way means that is what the actual loft is. There are +/- tolerances in manufacturing of ALL companies' heads. Second, all drivers are made with a vertical radius up and down the face called ROLL. Due to this vertical face radius, the loft at the top area of the face is as much as +3* higher than it is dead center in the face and +6* higher than it can be at the very bottom of the face. Also, it is very common to hit each shot in a little different position on the face - so that too can cause variation in launch angle. So WHERE ON THE FACE you hit each shot has the biggest influence on what the launch angle will be. Flex and bend profile of the shaft (distribution of stiffness over the length of the shaft) can also have an effect on the launch angle, but ONLY if you are a golfer with a later to very late unhinging of the wrist c o c k angle coming into impact. More than likely what you saw for that variation comes from differences in the loft at the point of impact over the multiple shots you hit with the two different clubs. TOM
Thanks, didn't really know about the Roll. I wound up hitting the razr again today at another store and got very similar results. I hit that sucker HIGH! - and not very far at all.

10. Strange name for clubs but results are all that matters. Hope I can hit some Rocketz!
11. I just picked up one of these at Golf Galaxy in their used section for $69 last week. It was new, still had the plastic on grip. Not sure yet how much I like it, I hit it well on the simulator not so well at the range today. Gonna try it again soon. Hope it goes better or it goes back to the store.
