  1. > @GolfingBro said: > Also I could use some help from you guys out there. I will be looking for an event on the east coast that will be from July 23rd-July 30th. Does anyone know of any state opens or pro am events that take place during that time?? Take a look at the Delta Dental State Open of Virginia. I'll be qualifying in June, for the tourney that is toward end of July.
  2. Racecar stuff is WAY more expensive. Makes me realize I'm too poor for all of my hobbies.
  3. I've been playing an original UDI 3 for about five years. Started with a Fujikudra 904HB that finally broke, now playing it with an Aldila RIP Tour 115 and love it.
  4. I'm one of the folks who cannot hit a 3-wood, be it off a tee or off the deck. However, driver is the best club in my bag. Can hit driver off the deck as well...must just be a brain thing. I have a 16* Mini as well (not currently in bag, but been contemplating putting it back), and I agree it launches STRAIGHT up in the air from the deck. Will be adding it to the bag for the tournament this weekend...supposed to be wet.
  5. See sig, in love. Have in both my 3 (gamer) and 1 (links).
  6. Anyone have a 52.12 Jet Black SM6 they want to get rid of, and can get it to Virginia Beach by Monday? Holler!
  7. Requested an add to the group as well (LW initials). Really looking for some for my MB trip next week!
  8. About four or five bogeys in a row, then hit the bottle...then stop caring.
  9. I LOVE my 52* Square Engage w/ CTaper 120S. Just perfect. I hated my 58* Square/Toe/Dual Engages...just couldn't do anything. I had started playing different shots with my 52* and was doing magic. I only have one round under the belt with the 58S Vokey, however I like it so far. I'll probably pick up a high bounce K Grind as well. so you will play a 58s and a 60k? No, I'll probably pick up a 58K.12 and see which one is better. I have not had the opportunity to play a high bounce K anywhere on green grass, so I had to make a judgement call since I had played an S in-hand for a full round.

  11. I went from the CTaper Lite to a Speeder 904HB in my 1 & 3 UDI's. Made a world of difference in the feel, launch, and playability.
  12. Fill out the fitting guide and it will steer you a general direction. I can't do anything with the M around the greens. Wedge grinds and bounce are very dependent on the user.
  13. .370 That's different than the UDI predecessor, which was .355.
  14. First round with my 58.10 S w/ CTaper 120. Didn't have many full shots, but noticed I was catching the ball high on the face. Just need some work with it!
  15. I'd be interested in that 52 if you want to pass along a deal. It just comes down to the MAJORITY of the shots you will be faced with. There is no one miracle wedge that works in every condition, however there are miracle players that can make nearly any wedge work on any shot. Big difference. Being steeper and more "hitter" with the wedges, the bounce and S grind is great for me. A tight lie has never scared me but a wet one does.
