  1. Dropped the price. Should mention these are 3-PW not 4-PW you'd get at the store. Getting one extra club here for cheaper.
  2. Data... Man, I hate the new game of thinking science. I can't wait to roll a few with it so I can see it, feel it for myself. Old fashioned, I know... :D Cheers Hit-Em! I agree,it all comes down how it feels in hand & how it looks to your eye, from what I can see this would definitely fit my eye :good: My post has to do with their claims that the milling has a affect on the feel & roll ...I'm curious to see if they have any data outside of their opinion The problem with seeing how it would feel is I don't think they're going to send me one to try out to see how it feels unle

Is this what you meant OP? You liked the post so I guess so. Just someone who buys a product solely and purely because a celebrity endorses it? Nothing else?

You've never bought a clothing item or shoe because your favorite athlete wore it? I've been a Nike guy most of my life, and my best friend works on the tour van for Nike. However, Spieth has been my favorite player since he was at Texas. Since he has been Endorses by UA, I've bought more gear from UA than probably necessary. Spieth is the only reason. Most people DO buy things based on athletes they idolize. It's not just normal everyday people. I can't find the post but I remember Tom Wishon posting that a surprising amount of PGA Tour professionals tend to use what the top 10 players

You'd be pretty high and mighty to think yourself above the influence of simple advertising? I don't know what clubs you're gaming right now but you're telling me you'd have the same knowledge of current golf clubs if you didn't have the knowledge of pros on tour who use them? Or even endorse the company? Maybe you don't use Taylormade woods or Mizuno irons, but I'm pretty sure seeing Luke Donald's MP-15's or whatever in the WITB thread sticks in your mind much better seeing them in a review on golfwrx. I simply play what works for me. Period. To make a purchasing decision based on what a t
  6. Where do we draw the line then? Surely we must also criticize Jordan Spieth from taking money from companies that outsource jobs, utilize terrible labor practices in other countries, tax avoidance. Aiding the NSA surveil on Americans, why the hell not? Well, in true wrx fashion, my first reply had nothing to do with the topic. :) I was simply replying to the statement that Coke had nothing to do with obesity and that it was 100% due to poor parental practices. I was simply stating that, while poor parental direction plays a role - sometimes a major one, it is not the ONLY factor. Anyone inv

  9. Liked the article but thought this part was a little concerning. Hey, everyone goes about things their own ways, and I'm not saying I know what's best, especially for someone so skilled, but that sounds to me like someone who's running away from facing a real issue. Working out kinks on the range is the easy part.
  10. Of all things??! A sugary drink? No! Don't do it Jordan!!

  13. Damn that's pretty much the exact putter I've been searching for. Guess I'll post mine. Truett handmade One:

You ever keep a swing feel for years or even months? Maybe you go back to an old one you forgot about, which helps, but they never last. They feel significant because the "feel" is significantly different from your current "feel." But once the new one is ingrained, you lose it as it's no longer new. I'm not saying feels aren't important just as you can't say swing thoughts aren't important. I'm sure there

  18. You're kidding right? That guy in the group who can only deal with problems is through passive aggressive bullsh*t like that is no better than the guy who gets outwardly mad. Rile into a breakdown? Get over yourself. Oh dear, such a strong reaction from you over only a few words, and you still doubt that I've made a person quit a round this way? Someone else reading might think I baited you into proving my point. :) Not to worry, though, I don't do this all the time. In fact, I can only think of one poor soul I have done this to in recent memory. Most of the members of my club were alread

They are pretty easy to rile into a breakdown. I unstrapped a guy's clubs on the cart like three times in 9 holes, "accidentally" walked in his line (just a little), hung out with everyone else in the group and ignored him, went into traps and raked over his spot after he already raked it, asked if he wanted the flag tended from 20 feet, walked up to his ball in the

You didn't say "he might win against a weak field on an easy course," you said he wouldn't win. You can't play that card now. Fact of the matter is that even the 100-200 guys are freaking good. Really good, and any of them can win at any time. If a guy wins one of the secondary events alongside a WGC it's not like there is an asterisk beside the win. The guy won a PGA tournament and gets his exemption and trip to Ka
