1. I've had the opposite experience. I got my brother the Tropical Trinidad putter and I was tempted to keep it. The finish was beautiful and I loved the feeling. Especially with the right ball. Not too soft but not overly firm either. Good balance especially for the price you probably picked it up for.

What do you like best? Feel, sound, control, look.

They make different sounds. /thread
I think more than anything, even before material, you'll have to take a look at the head shape. I'm sure you've tried putters of the same material that have felt different.
 5. Looking to sell my Callaway Apex Pros 3-PW. Ordered from Callaway with S300s. Bought these to replace my X-Protos but I just can't afford having them. Pretty much the perfect iron right here. Blade feel, blade look, packed with forgiveness and crazy ball speed. However if you know anything about these irons, you know the crazy finish wear issue these have. To be honest, they haven't been used so much yet a couple irons are just beginning to brown. Grooves almost have their entire life left. I tried to show it in the pictures but if you need any more, just let me know. $390 OBO to your door.
 6. A buddy I caddied for through Q school this year grew up playing junior golf with one of the guys on the show. Said he was the best golfer he'd ever played with. I think in the second round he won with a -19 or something pretty crazy.
 7. Playing the worst round possible, just feeling terrible, waiting for the sweet release of death... then chipping in on 18 to keep you coming back next week. Wtf golf
 8.
Regarding me getting hustled, that's debatable, because my teacher told me that when he introduced me to this man, he told me his full name, Mike Souchak, though I only heard "Mike," however it would not have mattered if I did hear "Souchak" because the name meant nothing to me. We played the front for $100/hole and I was 3 up. Mike paid me a nice compliment from my teacher on #10 tee and between that, being up $300 and playing scratch golf, I figured that I was on a roll and could do no wrong What followed was a train wre

His manager said its good experience for him to have to play well when it matters though. He is new to the whole pro thing, first time in Q school so I am happy for him. Thanks for the support all..
Wow congrats! I loop for a good friend who's trying his hand at it. He also made it through to the second stage a couple weeks ago. Maybe I'll see you there in a couple weeks!

Doesn't mean that I don't think that he is an idiot, but I think that there are some out there that are a bit oversensitive about things. All of you who have had daughters know what a whiny little girl sounds like. Maybe the comparison was appropriate. 13. Literally 2 billion views and no offers. Literally, don't check. I didn't lie in the title, they're Apex Pros. You knew.

Blade feel, blade look, packed with forgiveness and high ball speed. However if you know anything about these irons, you know the crazy finish wear issue these have. To be honest these irons are in really good condition but the finish wears so bad. Grooves practically have their entire life left. 15. Bought the exact putter for my brother. I liked it so much I was tempted to just keep it. Looks great and feels amazing. Don't overlook it.

Because missing the green 6 feet from the pin is usually not something to shoot for.
Good evening TRoc, I hope all's well I am by no means posting this to be contradictory however I know that for me, and based on your cap I'm sure that you have seen this, and what I am speaking if is there have many occasions where I have played the shot leaving myself the "out" of exactly this, 6-1
 17.
A) This is not meant to be contradictory, it's fine detail distinction and one that IMO, is a very critical and misunderstood one. As evidenced by your response. #2) It's also not a literal point but one of conceptualization. The 'concept' of a 20 foot circle around the pin (ignoring whether the pin is centered or not however, most of the stats quoted have been distance to the hole ie, hole in the center of a 20' circle) is an incomplete strategy IMO and discounts many other more important considerations. The point was the

Rather be 20' +/- on the right side of the hole than <10' on the wrong side any day of the week and twice on Sunday's. This is a concept (not exclusive to greens) that I think is one of the biggest differences between Pros and Ams.
The magic circle is a "gross" concept as opposed to a "fine" one. Certainly you can drill down from there and refine it. I would say that the circle simply moves, such that the pin is rarel

The blue crew at the DBC every year, particularly the ones on tee boxes, seem hell bent on making everyone else have a bad time when the pros show up to "their" tee boxes. 20. I would make a Sultans of Golf Swing joke but I don't think I have it in me.
 21. Simple stuff. Very motivated to sell. Make offers. Interested in trades for putters. First and second are Demo Nike VR Pro 6 irons. Buddy got these from EWG that was closing down. These are the kind that have the threads for the shaft attached to the heads. You need the tool to tighten completely. More or less any wench will do. I had plans on removing the threads but never did. First one's got a DG R300 in it. Second's got a Dynalite Gold stiff. $35 shipped for each. Third and fourth are Mizuno H4 2 irons. 18 degrees. Both were used pretty sparingly. One's got an X100 in it, or at le
