  1. Maybe they could use a business coach to "grow you, your team and your profits, make your brand look great!" https://capitalprimellc.com/
  2. It's a 250cc head, so it look a bit smaller than a modern driver. It looks very much like a fairway wood to me at address. My son also tried it and had no issues. Each driver was $4.99, so yeah, a great deal!
  3. Picked these two drivers up at Goodwill this weekend. I did a quick regrip on the Whale and hit it off the first tee on Sunday - about 220 left side of fairway. Very smooth through impact. The XL-500 is the first club I've seen with a stepped graphite shaft. The Whale is definitely going in the vintage bag.
  4. When my son's golf coach passed, his wife gave him his old Stan Thompson wood putter. Appears to be of a newer vintage, no markings except what you see. Lots of good memories!
  5. 1. City, State? Round Mountain, NV 2. Handicap? 15.5 3. Current putter? Bettinardi Studio Stock 3C 4. What Bettinardi Studio Stock putter do you want to test? SS 28 CTR, 35" 5. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt? Yes 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes
  6. I have the Ultralite XL on my irons and wedges, have had them on for roughly 6 weeks. I have not seen any loss of distance, and my misses seem more moderate. Still a work in process. No issues around the greens, have had a couple chip-ins for birdies the last couple rounds.
  7. UST Mamiya Helium Black, I beieve they were stock for the Speedzone.
  8. 16 cap - 3 times ~2002: Moses Lake, WA (course had sand greens!) Par 5, third shot from 160-ish. Saw it go in, left a cool trail on the green. 2019: 7th hole here on my home course, 7 iron from 140 into a pretty stiff crosswind for a deuce. 2020: Boulder Creek GC in Boulder City NV. Par 5, sand wedge from 100 for eagle. Saw it hit short and roll past the hole up a rise, then slowly roll back into the cup.
  9. I made a set (5-GW) of Sti2's for my daughter (5' 6", 100lb) using Miyazaki Jinsoku graphite shafts from eBay. R flex, SSx1. She really likes them and hits them well.
  10. Yeah! I'm using the SS Fatso 5.0, it's made a definite improvement to my stroke. Didn't think I would like it at all, but it works for me.
  11. I measured my heads with calipers when I reshafted earlier this year, got 1.181 as the insertion depth, which is 30mm.
  12. Sure thing! I did build a set of these for my daughter a couple months ago, she really likes them.
  13. Just finishing these up for my son, about the only choice for a lefty. Nippon 1050GH stiff, MOI match build.
