  1. Swapped my order for the Rogue 80s, shipping next week.
  2. Ordered a 7w with Tensei Orange 75 on 2/7 and they just got back to me that it would be late April due to that shaft not being currently available.
  3. Loose and too soft in the hands for me. It also doesn’t feel as CB as the TO. I need this to hit a specific yardage and the TO did the best job of the stock offerings. It’s worth noting I got my numbers on GC2 at a big box store rather than a quality unit like quad or TM.
  4. Good advice here. I played the Pings for almost two full seasons before jumping to 785s last fall before the zx7 release. After ~30 rounds I’m going back to the Pings. CJ couldn’t be more right on the feel/forgiveness factor with the Pings on poorly struck shots. The 210s are also built to be their own ‘combo’ set. Next to no offset and short blade length in scoring clubs and all the help a decent ball striker could want in the long irons. For me, I vote for the Srixons for looks and cool factor and the Pings for playability and confidence.
  5. I placed my order about three weeks ago with the Tensei. I tried all three stock shafts. The Tensei and the Rogue gave me the best dispersion numbers. I have a counterbalanced shaft in my other fairway so I went with the Tensei.
  6. I spoke with Ping today (just called their 800 number). i210s are still their current i-series iron - they just can’t build them due to backorder on certain components. You can still place custom orders but they are 12-15 weeks out. TGW, Discount Dan’s, Morton’s, etc can still help you do it you just have to call them.... Looking at May/June deliveries on new orders.
  7. Talked to ping today, 12-15 WEEKS for i210s...
  8. Looking for a set of i210s. 4-p, 4-u, or 5-p/u. Ideal shafts would be px 6.0. Thanks!
  9. I don’t know why they just don’t do what tennis racquet companies do and paint the current cosmetic on older heads. Obviously the wrx crowd would see right through it but that would still influence sales of the latest offerings.
  10. Going to 425 LST from 410 LST. Just sold the 410... 108 SS. Here are some things to note, in no particular order: - Ping drivers will never have the ‘best’ sound. IMO, if all else is equal, pick your driver based on this characteristic (BTW, 410 has a more dull sound) - Dispersion was much tighter with the 425, like not even close. I attribute this to the way the weight track shifts CG (I have the weight in the heel on 425 and in the center on the 410). Heel position in the 410 shifted CG too far. - I saw tighter standard deviation with the spin on 425. Again, this
  11. What are you guys finding with your stock shaft fittings for G425 fairways? I’m thinking about a 7w this year but I’m a lefty and fitters only have 3w heads. I traditionally prefer the feel of counterbalanced shafts so I’m leaning toward the Tensei but I’m still curious about thoughts and results for those who have swing both the Rogue White and the Tensei.

  13. Prices are shipped CONUSA. Trades I would consider new 52* and 58* vokeys, zipcore, or md5 wedges or new OG two ball. G410 LST 9* gamer head. It’s not a show piece butbhas a perfect crown and top line. The face reflects sandy range ball strikes. Ping Tour 65x at 43.75” (plays 44.75”). LH tip. Headcover included. $OLD Motore X F3 6x shaft at 43.5” (plays 44.5”). LH Ping G410 tip. There is a small bit of epoxy on the shaft about 4” up from the ferrule. $150
