I'd bet your guess of 75% is pretty close to average, but who knows. The real stats could be quite different.
  2. I think it is player dependent. 75% may be high for some players and may be low for some players. Stenson never really used a driver for a long time. McIlroy uses a driver as much as he can.

  5. Bad range balls. Those are the balls that are worn the most and have strange spin. That is why I separate my range balls into 3 piles: bad balls, average balls, and good balls. Only use the bad balls for short wedge shots, average balls for mid-irons, and good golf balls for longer clubs.

It’s not great for me either and my SS is between 100-105, even when I was at 109 it was not optimal. > > Once you hit center more, your numbers should go up to 218 for carry. That’s pretty much what LPGA players do with a 95mph swing. > > Your 209 average is not too far off, and with this minor change you should be able to get a couple yards. The rest is up to you and your swing. 218 should be your goal. ProV1X is a higher launch, higher spinning ball than the ProV1. His spin is too

He got injured and tried to prepare to come back and got injured again. I guess the injuries kept piling up, he’s had a back fusion and other operations and getting paid good money from his insurance claim. If he does back to playing, he loses that money so he’s not coming back given his injuries. He plays poker and does investment/business deals now. > > "Plays Poker and has business investment deals".

  12. I don't know how much of the online rumors are true. AK has never really spoken publicly to dispel or confirm much of the myths. Since he hasn't spoken publicly much about it, the rumors have gotten more and more like Big Foot sightings. I think he is just over playing professionally, prefers to stay out of the spotlight, and trying to live drama-free.
  13. > @Socrates said: > It can and has been done for years. In fact Pure Grips are designed to be done that way (using only compressed air - no solvents). Other than Pure grips, every other grip is designed for one wrap of tape to be used. If you choose not to use a wrap of tape, you will get undersized grips. > > To put on grips with no tape, the shaft has to be perfectly clean and the inside of the grip also has to be perfectly clean (including dust). Rubber compound grips work best and corded grips don't do as well. Eventually, you will find the grips will twist a little
  14. Anybody else not using tape to install grips? Just started not using tape (except to cover the shaft end) and like it much better. No compressor or removal of old tape. Takes longer to dry and slightly tougher to put on but not a big deal and haven't encountered any issues.
