  1. Thank you for all the in depth and well researched responses. I believe I'll send a letter the board using some of these answers and ask them to reconsider their decision. TJ
  2. Our club voted last night to put a "Local Rule" in place allowing players to continue using an anchored stroke in club tournaments in 2016. At any USGA, PGA, State Golf Association, etc. sanctioned event the ban will be in place. However for club events, (Member/Member, Member/Guest, Club Championship) anchoring will be allowed. The reasoning behind the decision is to keep tournament participation up and not lose the players who use an anchored stroke. Has any similar decision been made at other clubs? What are your thoughts and opinions on this "Local Rule"?

  8. Potential is limitless. You can analyze every round you play and find several things you could improve on. Setting realistic goals for yourself and reaching those goals is different. I don't know anybody though that wouldn't want to or think they couldn't improve even more after reaching their goals.
