1. D, 4W, 23 degree hybrid, 4I, 6-PW, 51, 56, 60, 64 degree wedges.
2. Great write up! Makes me want to go and get fitted there. Can you give a ballpark on what it costs for the fitting? Thanks!
3. Had a similar one (not that crazy gooseneck version) of these that was stolen in college Cool putter. GLWS
4.
throw a video up. Many a great player have played with a "soft" left knee. Jack, Arnie, Phil all come to mind. Video will help as it may not be what you think. Body type, swing type, etc come into play. Some can Some can't. It's about impact position. As mentioned, if you are digging graves, shallowing the bottom of the arch would be good and having a firmer left side helps.
Thanks for all the replies. I knew I could get some great info. I'll try and get a video up soon. And generally, I do "dig graves"...
5. is this correct?Hi All, I've never consciously thought about this while swinging but have noticed in numerous pictures of tour guys that the seem to be straightening their lead leg at impact (not "locked" but straightening if this makes since). Since then, I started messing with this on the range with decent results, Seems to prevent me from swaying forward. I remember on old instructor once telling me to "hit into a firm left side" (I'm right handed). So, is this a correct/proper swing component? What say ye all-knowing Golfwrx community? Thanks in advance!
6. Myself, Natalie Portman, Jessica Biel, and Jessica Alba. Strip golf... best ball... two-person teams. Going out with a bang....
7. I put a 64° in the bag mid-summer and love it (4.8 cap). I go with 5 wedges (PW, 52, 56, 60, 64). Took out the 4-iron. I hit it for full shots but really like it around the greens. For me, the decision to add the 64 was because there's not a terrible amount of difference for me between my 4 and 5 iron (distance-wise, there's a little... accuracy wise they're essentially the same [which is not great] but I carry a 23°hybrid which I can grip down). From 4 or 5 iron distance, I'm certainly not flag hunting and am just trying to get it anywhere on (or close to on). Therefore, I added the 64
8. 5.2 cap - 5 wedges PW, 52, 56, 60, 64. Took out the four-iron. Really like the 64 around the greens and to be honest, there wasn't a ton of difference between the 4 and 5 iron.
9. 5-P here... plus a 52, 56, 60, 64. Also a 17° and 23° hybrid... plus the oligatory driver and putter.
10. The picture of the A12 hybrid shows a 20 degree but the description says 18 degree. Would you mind confirming which is correct? Thanks!
11. Devotion 7 05 in my D2. I'm hopelessly devoted to it....
