What Raynors courses can someone actually join?
Jersey golfer replied to monty09's topic in Courses, Memberships and Travel
Have you played Rock Spring this year yet? Played it twice last year and will definitely go back several times this year if conditions are decent. A lot of optical subtleties that you need to be aware of. Really enjoyed the course. -
Wearing out heels in shoes. any recommendations?

Been wearing various Foojoy shoes for over 30 years (not the same pair) and have never had an issue. I usually walk and have been very pleased with all of their models. -

Forsgate has 2 courses. One was orignally designed by Hal Purdy and the other was designed by CS Banks. As far as I know Raynor had nothing to do with Forsgate. -
For golf shoes I have had good luck with Footjoy extra wide. They also have an easily removable insert which I replace with my prescription orthotic. For casual I agree with Merrill hiking boots and I also wear Reebok sneakers in extra wide. Good luck back pain and foot pain are killers for sure.

How about pushing upward with the left leg. Not per Ballard but it might work for you.

I am hitting the ball better standing on one leg

Impossible to do if you are doing the drill correctly. -
Try freebirdgolf.com and check out his swing direction drill. Hopefully this will help. He teaches MDLT.

Hard to believe that a private course would have a pitch and putt and a miniature golf course attached. I believe Stephen Kay designed Architects Golf Course. I know he was involved with Union County on some of their renovations.

Depends on the course I am playing. If it is a difficult hole and high degree I could lose the ball then a used ball. Otherwise, its nice to start a round with a new ball.

North Jersey affordable private club options?
Jersey golfer replied to NYCTUFan's topic in Mid-Atlantic
Watchung Valley used to be Twin Brooks, if that helps at all.
