  1. I plan to hotmelt my new Epic driver since it's coming in around D0 at my preferred shaft length. Going to first try on an older Optiforce - see pic. How do you remove this plug with it falling into the head and rattling around? What should I buy to then plug it back after hotmelting it?
  2. Same finish as AP2's. Don't have them in front of me but literally if you gave the AP2 a low dose steroid, you've got the AP3. I love the look. Very interested in the new AP3 based on all of this positive feedback. Quick question: do you know if the KBS Tour-V is an option for this iron? If so, any idea on how much of an upcharge it is? Thanks
  3. I have a 2016 M2 that I hotmelted several months ago. Head weight with screw is right at 200.3 gms....which is a hair heavier than my preference. I tried something today...I took the screw out of my old Jetspeed and it weighs about .5 gms and swapped it out with my M2 screw (think it weighed 2.2 gms)....now the weight is perfect. I think the lightest M2 screw I could find was the stock 2 gm screw so it's kinda cool that this jet speed screw is so light.

  5. Good source / friend of mine who is a club fitter in Atlanta was at PING hq last week and I asked him about the delay on the G400 LST and his response : I was out there last week and they said the first batch of shafts for lst were well below their standards and all were rejected.
  6. Quick update on indoor play from Tyler at FlightScope but sounds like it's geared more towards short game: We have a short game mode now that allows the unit to be used with 8 feet of ball flight and 8 feet behind the ball (16 feet total).
  7. I think they may have tweaked the "indoor mode" to make it better and better so I have an email into Flightscope to get the latest on this and to help answer your question. I will say about a year ago, my Flightscope contact answered it this way : "We require a minimum of 13 feet of ball flight as well as 8-10 feet behind the player". But I should get an update on this over next day.
  8. Updated listing with two pictures (one shows everything included with this sale). Let me know if you have any further questions - I did verify with Tyler Burnett at Flightscope that they are still selling this xi+ unit for $4995 (and shipping from Orlando to Atlanta was $70 more).
  9. I paid $4995 for the brand-new unit and $70 for shipping. I am the original and only owner of this flightscope. Happy to share original invoice with anyone who is interested in this item. As mentioned, the item has been used 8-10 times and is essentially brand new...the unit looks like the first time I received it, has always remained in my home office in it's travel case, I have the original box, manual, charger and other items. Between business/family...and buying a new franchise, I haven't played golf this year so I'm starting to sell some stuff. Would love to find a new home for this awesome toy.
  10. I am selling a MINT condition (used about 9-10 times) FlightScope xi+ launch monitor. Will come with original packaging/box, manual, charger, ball stickers (for indoor monitoring). Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested and want me to take additional pictures. The unit is no longer under warranty but you will get lifetime updates from Flightscope on new software/bios updates for the system. Price: $3850 which includes ground shipping to all US/domestic states. Data that this unit provides: Available Data Ball Data Carry Distance Total Distance Roll Distance Ball Speed Landing Position Lateral Deviation Skills Distance to the Pin Skills Score Club Data Club Head Speed Smash Factor PLUS(+) Vertical Launch Angle Horizontal Launch Angle Spin Axis and Spin Angle of Attack Spin Loft Club Speed Profile Club Acceleration Profile Shot Dispersion
  11. I met Grayson several years ago when he was like 15, rail thin and hit it a mile at a US Open Sectional qualifier in North Atlanta (Hawks Ridge). Very nice and polite at the time. If I was his manager I would do two things : delete his twitter account (for obvious reasons but also because he gets trolled constantly and replies to these folks constantly...that can't be good more his mental side) and I would send him to Bob Rotella and get his head screwed on straight...he's quite negative right now (missing cuts will do that). He really has no business spouting off on twitter but that seems to be his social outlet....it's very amateurish
  12. I live on Golf Club of GA where the GA Tech golf team practices just about every day. Roberto Castro is also out there. Let's just say that when Ollie would hit balls on the range, pretty much everyone stopped and admired. It sounds different and looks different. I think Ollie will get a win first and is getting closer and closer but needs to get his putter under control.
  13. I was privileged to get the invite to a secret golf society dinner at Peachtree Golf Club (ultra exclusive golf club in Atlanta...several members are also members of Augusta Natl) just before the Ryder Cup last year. Bones happened to be the guest that night and sat at our table before getting up and generously answering any question for a good 90 minutes. One of the rules of this society is you can't talk about what was said but I'll just say Bones is a CLASS act and I was hanging on ever word. They would show video of key moments in Phil's career and then pause and have Bones provide commentary on what was said between the two and how they attacked a situation/shot. The famous 2nd shot at Augusta/13th hole from the pine straw was a fascinating story and Bones definitely got overruled there. I'm a Phil fan but left that dinner being a big big Bones fan....he's about as cool as they come!
  14. Just saw highlights from his round today...obviously Tiger is very tournament rusty. He was all over the map today...shot 4 over and had a bunch of up and downs. Would love to see him find it and mix it up with the young flat bellies (and I'm not a Tiger fan)
