1. Which town? Itasca CC has pretty affordable memberships and the course is normally in pretty good shape, I was a member there for a year. If you are looking for the best deal (one which I've been doing the past 3 years), is Indian Lakes' Range Pass. Free range, Free golf walking after 3/4pm everyday. I think its $800, fwiw its a pretty good deal if you're a walker. I know the course isn't in great condition, but the layout is great. Hilldale also offers memberships, atleast they used to. That might also be an option. I've found that Indian Lakes' condition has slowly improved over the years. It'll never be a 5 star resort, but it's more than adequate, especially for a twilight round. Yeah I've seen it improve as well over the past couple years. I personally enjoy playing it because I really like the layout, you have 3 9-hole courses to keep it fresh, and the tips are far enough back for all the typical GolfWRX'ers lol.

 3. I still have 8 Dozen in plastic, these are the bombs of all bombs I'd choose these to be remade, or the 2nd version of Nike 20xi-x. Love them still have 4 dozen of these left from the Nike sale a couple years ago when they were going for 12 bucks a dozen. Wish I had picked up 20.
 4. Gave it 10 mins, just beyond bad commentating. Back to mute.
 5.
SRV's cover of Little Wing. It's the combination of his obvious respect for Jimi and his own incredible skill that gives me goosebumps every time.
Yes this x 1000
 6.
I'm too much of a WRXer. Went to the 463 yard drive article first.
Drive? I thought that's the average wrx 3 iron.
 7. It will be a miracle if they even show one shot of his on the TV coverage this week.
 8. I honestly don't think he had any expectations out of his game this week. Just played because he needs some actual tourney rounds and he was going to be in the area anyways.
 9. I remember trying these on last year, they were pretty stiff. Anyone know how well they hold up? Or if their "Nano Spike" technology works?
 10. I can't speak for how good/bad his caddie is, but It could help if he had someone with more experience. In time they'll both figure out how to finish the job, that can be learned. What they have that can't be learned is chemistry.

I've never been out there, but I've heard tales of lost ball after lost ball due to all of the water.
How were the greens? I played there during the Ryder Cup in '12 and they were some of the fastest greens I have ever seen.
I've only played there once back late 2011 and the greens were just totally burned out, like concrete. They were def fast just not receptive. Some tough holes if you're off w the driver lol.
 12.
Playing at Ruth Lake CC today in Hinsdale if the weather holds up. Have never played the track before, either. Playing in a CDGA event. Will post a recap after.
My uncle is a member there, very nice track. Prob some of the best greens around. Haven't played there in a few years though.
