  1. I use goo b gone all the time on normal grip tape residue, but this stuff is a tape replacement. Almost as if it was a spray adhesive. It’s super thin. I thought you guys might’ve had some sorta spray that made it dissolve. One of the guys mentioned gas? This shite is a pain in the arse.
  2. Hey guys, Seems like many low-budget clubs, when the grip is removed, has an almost impossible to remove coating on the shaft, other than conventional tape. I assume many of you tape over it, but what if you have to remove it. What’s the trick? I’m installing extensions, and this crap will be seen if not removed. Many thanks
  3. Can anyone speak to the quality of the Apollo line of golf shafts? Primarily the steel offerings. I understand they have quite a storied past, but ownership has changed.
  4. I went right at it. No tape. The belt never affected the hosel’s finish whatsoever. Acetone just as you’d use it on any chrome head. Everything turned out perfect. Now for a lie adjustment without marring the finish. I’ve purchased the nylon kit for my bending machine, but doesn’t seem to hold the head in place. Suggestions?
  5. Howard, Thanks for clarifying the finish. The ferrule I’m using is very close to the same diameter, but does need some belt work, before the acetone wipe. White linen belt is best?
  6. Hey guys, Anything to be wary about when finishing ferrules with new raw heads. Tape them, don’t worry about taping them, will the belt affect the finish. The effect of acetone? Never done a raw one, and I can’t screw this up. Thanks men.

  8. Does anyone know whether the PING ANSER irons take a collared/skirted ferrule? There is no distinct step in the hosel to indicate that it does. The head came off the shaft, and the old ferrule had collar, but nothing like what PING typically uses. The shaft may have been changed once before.
  9. Sorry, I just see your question. These are a hollow muscle back blade, I guess you’d call them. I’ll PM you the catalog page.
  10. NEW 3-GW @ $35.00 USD per head, plus shipping. Includes a FREE 6 iron head.
  11. Mine is similar. Driver, and a 21’ 7W. The rest is the same as yours.
  12. Is the inside diameter of grip constant? Like .600 at the butt and the mouth, or tapered like the shaft it's covering?
  13. I thought they would. But nothing on either USA or Canadian sites.
