  1. Maybe not the best but still....the club sandwich to go at the turn is really fine...
  2. ...they use the t200 and they just suck, "Feel is awful."...and so they say, "I'll get t100s! I'm a feel guy."...and then they suck so very sucky bad and they go to Ping i210s because "I like their innovation."...and they suck because "I hate their shafts. What's up with these!"...."I need the x5s! The v sole!"....
  3. off the deck, no hazard defending green? a really hot, shallow faced 3 wood with a low spin, high launch shaft...like the new GD offering.... OR...an 11* Kasco k2k ....you'd have to switch out the shaft to a low spin, high launch....JP used to crush that club back when...still have it!
  4. as a quasi gi iron, they look fantastic. the leading edge softening is more pronounced than my AP2 to almost being a slight v sole. JP can work with that small amount of bump. it is hard not to love Mizuno irons...a life long love affair...
  5. Don't like the copper look ones, looks like something Taylormade or Cobra have/would release. No blue? forgetaboutit....
  6. .... it is hard forJack Pearsall to watch this hybrid and fairway wood onslaught as it seems like an abomination to the very foundations of iron decency.
  7. JP uses Adidas Ultimate 365. Callaway, Puma, UA, Oakley and Nike all make similar pants. ...some of them have stickie stuff on the waist to hold shirt in...
  8. Callaway has no idea the hornet’s nest they have disturbed! Time to short ELY!
  9. Love the tour b xs (all three are great) Very long, damn good in the wind, spin well on the greens, and they are pretty expensive. Fave ball. A++ The tp5 series is JP’s second fave. Great spin, long, good wind ball, not super durable, probably best feeling, expensive. A+ Prov1. He has used them forever. A very good ball that is no longer the best ball in any of the categories.Too expensive for what you get. B+ Chromesoft. Starting to warm to these. Wonderful feel. Pretty good ball. B+
  10. Aren’t Callaway kind of old man clubs? 40 and older. They look good in the trunk of a Cadillac. the t100 also look good in a Caddy trunk, but they really shine in the passenger seat of a Carrera.
  11. The recent 3 woods go too far and blow through the dogleg bends...so he uses a steel TM 300 Series 3 wood or an old 17* hybrid depending on the course. He has a new TM M6 18* wood but he hasn’t worked with it much at all yet... it is all about what you CAN hit onto the fairway consistently.
  12. No handicap requirements but new members have to play nine with one of the pros, no doubt to inform the newbie...and to see some knowledge of golf etiquette and its rules. No interviews but 3 members have to vouch for you during the ‘honeymoon’ period...
  13. If you have a nice BIG pile of dough, the Bay Area is pretty great. Best weather in America. Best restaurants. Terrific medical. ...if you’ve seen the South Park episode on San Francisco, it is damn accurate....
  14. He still keeps trying 5 woods but damn he hits them like crap. $120 tops.
  15. The 718 tmb is not an especially friendly iron, compared just about every one mentioned. It looks pretty cool. Inside center hit required.
  16. He prefers the adjustability and excitement of the M5 line. M6 is just too old man even for Jack Pearsall.
  17. 5' 9" or less, hybrid 5' 10" or higher, fairway
  18. Eric was once rather a skilled guitarist. He had some really fine moments. He is mostly a soulless player today doing rote runs. His blues takes...are as dead as the genre. Been that way since the mid 70s.... His politics are just kind of ugly. He isn't a particularly educated bloke and that is on him. He shat on a lot of people on his way... Jeff Beck is still trying to push it. He can still be amazing and sonically obnoxious too.
  19. he is still new at it...not the easiest job...I remember Venturi and he had his issues too, carping on the same thing all weekend...Azinger is more critical, and as players, we know he's right about it...dont really have a problem with him...there are many far worse color guys...give him some seasoning...
  20. Did Jack have guys removed for calling him Fatty in the early 60's? Probably not, but times have changed. It seems, mostly men, think it is their right to be obnoxious and unruly and that is just okay because free speech is protected. There are people who seem to believe that there are no consequences for their behavior, their free speech comes with no repercussions and that is not the deal with free speech. So as a private event attended by the paying public, there is no issue with people being removed for their comments. You may say whatever you want but it isn't about free speech. There are consequences. If you stand outside of the event on public grounds, you may say pretty much whatever you want to Brooksie. They can solve this all by restricting liquor sales and permanently banning these actors. Maybe they need a code of behavior for pro golfers, as all this did not just happen in a vacuum.
  21. Streaky putter, but not a really good putter...
  22. If you think practice swings are advisable, sure go on, practice your crappy swing.
  23. Normally not but things that bring a 9 hole round are time, weather and pace of play. almost always it is the latter. There are rounds where you wait for every shot except putts and he can only stomach so much watching hacks butcher up the course with their ridiculous lack of talent to play the game. And the 5-12 handicappers thinking they are special...so f'ing special...they're creeps. HIT the ball fool! And you wankers foursomes where you all watch each other hit, I'm the guy hitting onto you....
