  1. Congratulations!! Quite an accomplishment!
  2. I have the same exact experience as RobotDoctor. Finally selected (Wednesday practice/Par 3) and have to wait two extra years. Ironically, after I submitted my application for 2020, I joked that I was about to be rejected for the 25th time.
  3. I’ve played both. Initially changing from S300 to X100. The x100 did lower trajectory slightly and tighten dispersion, again just slightly. Possibly due to a better fit. It also seemed that the trajectory was more consistent. I have also played X100 soft stepped once and twice. Currently playing X100 SS 1x. I’m not sure what it is, but the X100 always felt livelier than the S300. Never liked the feel of the S300. Best thing to do is get an extra head that matches your set and shaft it with an X100 and see how it performs.
  4. I found that practicing with a metronome helps. Seems that 60-80 beats/min is the suggested range. I found that 75-76 is my pace. Having a consistent routine has also made a huge impact. I cannot recall who the pro was, but he did a YouTube video on putting routine/practice using the metronome. The basis of his routine was to look at the hole, look at the ball, look at the hole, look at the ball, pause, backstroke, stroke all on the beat of the metronome. You can also count the steps as you go. His sequence may have been a bit different. Just find a sequence that is comfortable for you. This has also helped with longer lag putts as well. Takes the thought of mechanics out of the stroke.
  5. Not sure how you guys see the dent in the 2nd pic. I cannot see it…even after enhancing the photo. Remember the 1st and 3rd pics are from the buyer and only the 2nd pic is the sellers.
  6. Eagle Lakes is a bit less expensive than the high end courses. Played this time last year. Wasn’t difficult to get a tee time. Also, Lely Resort has an all day range deal short game/chipping area, putting green and range. (unlimited balls). I believe it was around $30.
  7. I believe they were PETER MILLAR MEN'S PERFORMANCE FIVE POCKET PANT Iberian blue Peter Millar Men's Performance Five Pocket Panthttps://www.gettyimages.co.nz/detail/news-photo/fred-couples-acknowledges-the-gallery-on-the-13th-hole-news-photo/1204242935
  8. The local GolfGalaxy is actually open now so I was able to check them out. The undersize is actually an undersized grip and not a standard grip with a smaller core. I suspected this was the case, but just needed confirmation prior to ordering the wrong size. I would have preferred a standard size grip with a .58 core for 1/64” oversized, but that does not appear to be available as a retail option options are: Undersize :58 RoundStandard : 60 RoundMidsize: 60 RoundJumbo: 60 Round
  9. GolfPride has the CP2 wrap .58 core version identified as undersized on their website. They also have other models with .58 core listed as standard. wondering if both the outer dimensions and the core of the CP2 wrap “undersized” .58 are smaller, or if it’s just the core as most other grips called customer service, but no answer. Stores are online only at the moment which rules out checking them out in person.
  10. hammergolf, Thanks for the update. played the B330 years ago then switched to Pro V1x and this year was in the process of switching to Pro V1. After seeing the ads for the 105mph swings, I started considering the B-RXS, but now am not sure as I am also not a fan of the superball feel. seems like the RXS compares more to a Callaway supersoft than a chromesoft.
  11. hammergolf, any updates on how the test went? Curious about the RXS
  12. Tested some more today. Turns out it is really sensitive to being level with the ball. I’ve been hitting off grass, not mats which makes it tougher to be exactly level. Re-reading the users manual, it claims an inch can make a difference. When not exactly level 15 yards registered around 13 yards ( it was always shorter than actual). After being meticulous about the level, it was registering to within a 1/2 yard at worst.
  13. Anyone notice that the accuracy diminishes as the battery level goes down ?
  14. did some more testing.... for chips/pitches in the 15-30 yard range, it seems to be spot on. I am still having issues with the 90-150 yard shots. I moved the device between 3 and 5 ft and raised and lowered it. The shots between 90 and 150 all seem to register shorter than actual. Hitting to a small practice green at 98 yards according to a Bushnell laser, shots that land within a few yards of the flag are registering almost 10 yards shorter. I have not checked the accuracy of the laser, that is the next item to check. Other that checking driver carry distances, which are tough to see at the range I use, my main purpose was to dial in the 90-150 yard distances. Especially the in-between club distances. Not sure I trust it yet, Has anyone else experienced these issues? And if so, what did you do to get better readings?
  15. i only have one session with mine…placement behind the ball seems to affect the shorter clubs significantly more than the longer clubs. It seemed accurate from 8 iron up through driver. However, 9 iron and Gap wedge were reporting extremely short. I was carrying the 9 to a green with a flag at 145 and the device was registering 120-130 yards. It was registering 98 for the Gap wedge and the ball was flying well past the 100 yard flag. Typical yardage for a GW is 115-120. I used a Bushnell laser for the 145 and 100 yard flags, so those distances are accurate. I will try moving the deck d closer for the short irons next session. is the consensus to place it closer ( 3 ft) for shorter clubs and at 5 feet for longer clubs?
  16. Another Puma recommendation. I initially bought mine since Pumas were the most comfortable for me when I was younger. The TitanTour Ignites are more comfortable than anything I have ever worn. The are generous in width in the toe area. Even though they appear as if they wouldn’t be.
  17. finally getting around to re-shafting the squareway. I liked the shaft combo in my original that I waited until I found a reasonably priced replacement head. For those that have re-shafted these, is the insertion depth the depth of the 350-335 adapter? Or should the shaft penetrate further than the adapter?
