1. I used the watch yesterday on the lowest brightness setting and with a timeout of 10 seconds. Since there is no battery percentage, only a battery bar, I estimated that there was 75%+ battery life left. Very accurate and easy to read.
2. I was hoping to use the watch this weekend but Torrey Pines North has not been updated on the Golf Buddy system however, the system noted that the course was renovated and was in processing to be added to the system. I will be playing this weekend and will hopefully report back with a review next week.
3. I received the Golf Buddy WTX watch as a birthday gift and can't find any reviews on it. I'm not familiar with the company and have limited knowledge of the other GPS watches out there. Any members have this watch and what's your opinion. Also, what are considered the top GPS watches.

5. The only hybrids I have ever hit are the J40s and they are really easy to hit. The Project X shaft wasn't a great shaft in the J40 driver for me but in the 3 wood and hybrids, its a great match.
6. Bingo, bango, bongo. First one on the green (bingo), ball closet to pin when all players are on the green (bango), first person to get into the hole (bongo).
7. Stadium Golf Center (Near Fry's Electronics) has 9 PGA instructors. Great facility. I have been working with Justin Hicks for a little while. Great guy, very knowledgeable, breaks everything down beautifully.
8. I had a lesson last week with golf instructor who has played on the PGA. He asked what my target is. I said, "The target is the ball". WRONG. It's was clear in my swing. As we watched the video of my swing, it was clear that the target was the ball. I'm trying everything I can do to hit the ball and it created poor swing. The target is where you want the ball to go/land. In basketball is the ball the target? When you are putting is the ball the target? Best advice I heard. My swing is more fluid and has created consistency in ball striking.
Not sure If your being serious or not but Tiger used his old Cameron Newport 2 in the PGA in 2009.
I am being serious. I was watching the 2009 PGA Championship today when they suspended play. On hole 15 or 16 they have a great shot of the back of his putter.

11. Ping Sydney. People don't know what beauty is until they see this thing (LOL), Currently looking for a mint Piretti.
12. Well sir, you must be some special snowflake. I bet you whined when the OEM asked you to pay for shipping. The OEM likely doesn't want you to publicize their name because they don't want other ridiculous customers expecting the same outcome as you. Nothing wrong with notifying the OEM, I am sure they encourage that, but expecting them to make things "right" and send you the real deal is ludicrous. Taylormade, Nike, etc would be out of business if they abided by that standard. I wish to visit your fantasy land where reasonable and fair do not exist.
13. I can't believe how some people feel so entitled. Sparky, hate to say it, you're the customer nobody wants to have. Just reading this article makes you sound very high maintenance and a D-bag. A very reasonable customer would have demanded a full refund, a shipping label, and maybe a discount off a future purchase if you felt the seller made an honest mistake. Crazy how much time some people will invest over such a minimal amount of money, especially when a full refund was offered. Not sure if I'm using this word correctly, but did someone BAZINGA the seller?
14. If the buyer files a item not described case 99% of the time you will lose. In fact, I have never heard of a seller winning an item not described case.
15.
I've seen 19 to 21 for 3 hybrids and 22 to 24 for the 4 hybrids. Obviously like iron lofts there is a trend towards stronger lofts in the hybrids. The J40s are in the more traditional category with regard to loft, etc. and if you hit them well your only concern should be making sure they blend in with the lofts of your fairway(s) and irons.
I have the J40 DPC irons, J40 3 wood which I believe is a 3+ 14 degree.
