Who here plays their driver under 44.5" finished length???

Went to 44" two years ago (from 45"). Better contact and more fairways with no perceptible loss in distance. -
I was intrigued so I picked up a TS-1 5-iron. This was the first Maltby iron that I ever considered, let alone ordered. I have to say I was surprised by the very low profile of this head. The hosel is much shorter and BBGM is 15/16". This must be how Maltby gets such low VCOG numbers. I was hoping this would be similar to the i500 or P790 but it's profile is more closely related to my wife's 716 AP1. Here's a pic of the TS-1 5-iron with a KZG Forged Evolution 5-iron (i.e. a somewhat more traditionally sized head) for comparison.

West Chester, PA 3.2 Ping Ketsch 11C 34" I agree. Thanks! -
Take a look at the TourEdge XJ1. Large head (194cc), very light overall weight, and price has just dropped substantially.
