  1. After everything I've been through in the Military and life itself, Golf is my ZEN time, love the challenge, you can always do one shot better.
  2. Depending on weather, Lee's Hill GC or Medal of Honor at Quantico.
  3. 1. City and State? Fredericksburg, VA 2. Handicap? 5 3. What ZX ball do you want to test? Z star XV 3. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt? Sure am 4. Current golf ball? Tour B XS, Chrome Soft X 5. What do you look for when buying a new golf ball? Lower driver spin, solid feel off irons, great greenside control, soft putter feel 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes i do.
  4. I also will recommend the G400 LST (not because I play one, is because is a really good driver), G410 and G425s are just as good, but for the money, I would suggest the 400 or 410...good luck.
  5. I've done both, great front 9 and forgettable back 9 and vice versa, normally if i start really well, I try not to get too aggressive on the back, however, if I am not playing well from the beginning, I tend to be more aggressive on the back, what's funny it that I "save" the round on the back...crazy game, at times you play like Tiger and then turn into Tigger, oh well, that's one of the reasons I love this game.
  6. I agree so much with this, same here 3-4 cap, however, if I am off from the tee it's going to be a long day with scrambling for par, then the 78-82 score comes in, if playing well from the tee scores are much better between 74-76, irons are somewhat my strength, putting is at times suspect, chipping is what saves my rounds...but I totally understand, great topic btw...
  7. I also am a FJ fanboy, so I say Pro SL with some custom inserts, work wonders for me, I have some issues after an accident in Afghanistan while on active duty, knee surgeries and back surgeries, the Pro SL simply work for me, classics, tour X the all are very comfortable, that said, I always use a different insole...
  8. So I am going to be bias and honest at the same time, I recommend the Ping iBlade, i200 or i210, very forgiving, great feel, workable and durable, I have been playing iBlades since release and have not changed, I have access to demo all Ping equipment, some might feel better, or be longer, but numbers don't lie, iBlades (for me) work best, that said, if you see my signature, I don't have any of the latest equipment, I do have the driver heads (G400 and G410 LST) the G gives me the best results, if it could sound like the 410 it would be perfect...demo a few and play what fits you best, take ca
  9. Since retiring from the military, I've made it a point to get in the best shape I can, so my game has improved, haven't changed my X-Flex shafts yet, not saying it will never happen, as we know, father time is undefeated!!!, but for now I can still play them, I am 48 btw...105-107 SS with driver, 90s with irons
  10. MCC +4 Align, love them, feel great and they last quite a bit...
  11. I actually have 2, a G25 3W 15* since new, re-shafted with Diamana D+ 82X and Adams super pro 20* hybrid with ADDI 105x, they have the same shaft as my newer equipment in the signature, sometimes I switch the 3W and Hyb out just to change things, 95% of the time I play what is in the signature...
  12. I've been trying to get in shape since retiring from the military, results?, I hit my wedges a bit longer that I used to on full swigs (about 80%) so: PW 46*-130-140 GW 50*-120-130 SW 54*-105-115 LW 58*-100 and below I've played 4 wedges since I started playing, honestly I have never thought of playing with less than 4...to each their own I guess, I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to the question...
