  1. Recently picked up a Scotty GoLo and I love the look of the club, but the clubface always looks closed to me when I set up to the ball in my normal stance. I compared it to my Evnroll ER2B which has a clubface that looks perfectly square to my eye. When I line both of them up, the Scotty definitely needs more of a forward shaft lean to get the club square than the Evnroll does. So question being: Is there a way to change the shaft angle? Reshafted with a single bend that is closer to the Envroll? Bend the shaft that is currently in the scotty to get the face more square to my eye? If I change the shaft in any way to get rid of the forward shaft lean, does it change the performance of the putter (ie, need to change the loft of putter)? Any recommendations of folks that do solid work with club making in Charlotte would be helpful as well. Might be easier to talk in person with a club maker. Attached pic below.
  2. Oban Kiyoshi Purple 65g in 05 (x stiff) Flex with a Taylormade Tip on it. The shaft measures just under 44" (43.75") from butt of grip to end of tip. A new Golf Pride z-grip cord (logo down). There is some residual epoxy near the tip from removing the old Titleist tip in favor of the Taylormade tip. It is not noticeable from address, but have included pics. $200 shipped. (pending sale) SOLDDDD
  3. Hey y'all. After 20 years of playing golf, I've decided to actually get fitted for some new clubs. A bit of background, I'm a 1 handicap and play Mizuno MP68s/Project X 6.0. Looking to get fitted for some new irons and was searching around Charlotte for different fitters. Initially looking at Club Champion but seeing some mixed reviews. Apparently there is high praise for Ken Husvar at Victory Custom Golf but I have not been able to contact him. The number on his site gives a "busy" tone whenever I dial it and I cannot find his email address. Does anyone know of a way to contact him? Or does anyone have any recommendation of places to get iron fit? Thanks! -Cody

  5. Thanks for all the suggestions! I love the look of the 919 tours and the MP20s. Anyone have thoughts on PXGs? I haven't been able to get my hands on them and didn't know how they compared to other Mizuno products out there.
  6. I'm looking at replacing my MP 68s with Project X 6.0 that are a bit worn out. I don't play as much as I used to, so looking for something a tad more forgiving - although I could be persuaded to keep playing blades. I love the thin top line and compact head size. I haven't been following the equipment world the last couple years, so I'm a tad out of the loop. What do y'all think I should get??
  7. ahh thanks! I love my mp-68s but they have just gotten a little worn out and I'm looking for a replacement. I wouldn't mind a little more forgiveness since I'm not getting out there as much, but I do love the look of a blade. Titleist AP2s were on the list a year or two ago, I've just been out of the golf world since then (new job/girlfriend/life in general/etc haha) so wasn't sure what was the move now.
  8. Hey y'all! Its been a while since I've been browsing through the ole pages of GolfWRX. I was hoping I could get y'alls help on recommending some new irons to get. I've been out of the equipment loop for a bit so I'm not sure what is the new things to get or what people are recommending. Few stats that might help point y'all in the right direction:Currently playing: Mizuno MP 68 3-PW with Project X 6.0sHandicap: When I was a member at Sedgefield CC I got down to a +2.2 (moved to Charlotte in 2018 and have been playing sparsely since). Probably in the range of 2-5 right now. Swing Speed: Driver swing speed in the 112-115mph range. 7 iron distance in the 170 range.Preferred Looks: Biggest thing for me is a thin top line and not much offset on the hosel. Thank y'all in advance!! -Cody
