  1. I sold a Cobra 4 wood a part of a package deal. Couple years later, I borrowed some clubs while on a trip and ended up borrowing my old clubs... including that 4 wood. I was able to get it back after hitting it extremely well. That club won't be going anywhere even if it sits in my golf room.
  2. In the Monday qualifier photos, who was playing the Ping G's?
  3. I'm gaming Riptide CB in my driver and Riptide in my 3 and 7 woods. If I can get the same shaft with lower torque, sign me up!!
  4. Just wanted to add I got a 3rd round in with the same ball. That might be a new record for me. I had to play the back 9 with some pretty heavy scuffing but with as wet as it was, I decided "why not?" That said, the first ball will be retired now. But I'm very impressed with the performance and durability.
  5. Balls arrived. Thought I'd share some photos. I've actually got 2 rounds in with the Q Soft. 1 ball, 36 holes. Shot 81/80 which are the best scores I've shot in quite some time. The ball performs extremely well. High ball flight and similar length to Pro V1X and Vice Pro Plus for me. Iron performance was solid. Wedges seemed to spin just a bit more. The ball has a slightly firmer feel in the cover and has more of an audible "click" to it. I actually didn't mind the firmer feel. Putting feels excellent and about the same as the Vice Pro Plus. The neon green
  6. there were no restrictions placed on golf club performance? Besides half or more of this forum losing their Monday time killer by looking a the conforming lists, how much difference, if any, would there be in overall play and performance of tour players? What kind of things would we see done?
  7. Day would be an excellent "face" for Club Champion. Carry a CC bag and help sell their custom fitting services. He would be able to play anything and it could further add to the "play what's actually best for you" angle.
  8. Signed up and actually ordered some balls to try. The Misty looks interesting to me as well as the X and the Q-Soft.
  9. I'd expect Adams is going to become a niche brand for TM. They'll have this club as a nod to the original Tight Lies club and then we'll see them release additional clubs in the "Moon Wood" type classification (hybrids and fairways) under the Tight Lies line. It will fit the niche that TM doesn't want to put the TM branding on.
  10. I really love the idea behind the X Forged CB with being able to have the weight changed to get a specific swing weight but your photos have me second guessing.
  11. 1. Valdosta Country Club 2. Valdosta, GA 5. 12 4. Epic Flash Sub Zero 10.5*, 46" Evenflow Riptide 5.5 5. No 6. Tsi2 (left hand) 7. Absolutely
  12. City, State? Valdosta, GACurrent wedges? Callaway MD4 Tactical 52/56 (lefty)What conditions do you play in (soft, average, firm)? Average (sometimes soft) with tightly mown fairwaysOne thing that would improve your current wedges? More forgiveness on full shots (tend to pull them)Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and high quality photos? AbsolutelyDo you agree to write a review on Cleveland Golf's website? Absolutely
  13. This is very interesting now. I thought there was supposed to be an announcement on Monday... also haven't seen a photo of his bag this week.
  14. What is going on with Chris Stroud's setup? Srixon, Cleveland, and TM irons? I know Srixon/Cleveland are the same company but he has 4 different irons in his set makeup.
