  1. I need to get my hands on one of those, wow! Love that lead edge grind. Looks to be Japan only.
  2. If you are having trouble with the 3 wood off the deck, then definitely try a 16.5* 4 wood. The 4 wood will be easier to hit off the turf and also maintain most of the distance of the 3 wood. To fill the gap between wood and iron, this will depend on if you would rather use a hybrid or another fairway wood. I really like hybrids, and play them with lengths that are an extension of my iron set, which sets up a nice gapping for me. I have tried a 7 wood before and just couldn't get along with it on the course.
  3. Trying to clear out some space and get rid of things I do not use. All prices OBO within reason and shipping consideration. Local pickup in middle TN is also welcome. Let me know if you would like more pictures of a certain item. 1. Adams Idea Pro 22* (non-retail head) with real Aldila SVS9 shaft (has skull and crossbones marking). This is in great condition with like new superstroke standard grip on it. $45 shipped. 2. Adams F11 9.5* Driver Head – good condition forgiving head that is ready for the shaft of your liking. $30 shippe

    Putter Shaft

Do you recall how much the shaft was tipped from the factory?
  5. I currently have the best feeling (to me) putter and shaft combo I have ever used. I found an old Yes Jenny and had a Rifle FCM 6.5 9-iron shaft trimmed to fit it. This thing has so much feel, which provides confidence. My backup putter is a Cleveland HB-3 which has a great feeling face, but the KBS CT shaft seems a bit too stiff and has muted feel a lot.
  6. Driver: 44” 3w: 42.25” Hybrids close to standard iron lengths.
  7. Closing ad...send PM if interested. I am open to sand and lob wedge trades.

  9. This works well for me also. I love my old Adams Idea Pros.
  10. Big fan of the old Adams hybrids. Find one that looks good to your eye and insert favorite shaft. I play the old Idea Pro models with VS Proto shafts cut down closer to actual iron shaft lengths.
  11. Have you tried KBS Tour? It’s not the same with regards to flighted but probably the closest you will find to a similar feel. I used to play Rifle FCM 5.5 and now play KBS Tour stiff. Your other option is to swap your shafts into some newer heads which would be my route because old FCM are hard to find now.
  12. Might want to try their CK blue also, which should be cheap now. I just put one into my driver and I’m really enjoying it.
  13. I have had 2 of their hybrids in my bag since I started playing. I have rotated a few different models, but my favorites are the Idea Pro and Pro A12. These things are cheap now, and I don't see how you need anymore technology. It was also nice that Adams used shafts that didn't need to be swapped immediately. Taylormade would be printing money if they re-released a newer model like these.
