1. I would love to experiment with the shotmaker.
2. I want to win this one, me me me me me me. Thanks Scratch and Golfwrx!
3. My first ever round of competitive golf, freshman in high school that just squeaked onto the varsity team, and my coach pulls me aside and says 'hey, Justin, I made an error on the lineups, and you are going off against their number one player...and you are on the tee in one minute.' I was just trying to soak the whole experience in when I was thrust into the focus of both teams, coaches, and some onlookers. I managed to hit it about 250 down the middle of the fairway, and ended up beating my guy in a rain shortened match. Definitely the most pressure I've ever felt over the golf ball.
4. those look awesome. I actually hope I win this one
Did you notice any rattling with it in your stock shaft? As I've posted, mine rattles just a bit when you tap it on the ground, but I've seen tremendous positive results in my driving game since installing it in mine. Once I get some time, possibly over the winter I guess, I'm going to pull my Harrison Saga out of my Nak and replace the stock matrix with it.
Yeah there was definately a rattle in the stock shaft. After tapping pretty aggressively while installing, the rattle seems to have almost disappeared, buy rattling around in a cart seems to bring it back. I get decent results loosening the screw, tapping again and retightening, but it has done wonders for that shaft. Dispersion is so much tighter and the ball just seems to float down the fairway and take off once it lands. I'm a big believer.

7. someone please buy this so I don't. I really don't need a fourth one, but my dad's driver could sure use one...
8. I'm enjoying this thread. It's like a mix of Ken Kesey and Bill Walton.
9. does anyone know of a dealer in Chicagoland (south preferably) that is carrying these? I have two and love them, may need a couple more. Thanks, Justin
10. Fastmc what flex do you recommend to put in a putter?
11. I too would be willing to try that out.
12. Still havent found a shaft to knock the JZ stiffs out of my i3 blades, these could be just the ticket
13. I'm by no means a tipping expert, but I would think that tipping this would raise the launch, as the steel tip section would be shorter, thereby lowering the kick point. These are super stout shafts to begin with, I would try it and see what you think. What's the worst that could happen, you are out a $10 shaft?
14. For the iron shots, try hitting them off a lie board to make sure they are the correct lie for you. Otherwise, it sounds like your irons are going well.
15. I've measured out many of the red GP tour wrap 2G to right at 46g. Whites and blacks are heavier. That grip has been a godsend on these hot and sticky days.
16. Rad- My response is in the quote a couple posts up. iPhone response got a little wonky.

I'm a mid to high teens SS, with little to no load, and the F works fine for me. And any of the Chicago guys, I have an extra F and a wrench at home if you want one done quick. just pm me and we can set up a time to get it installed.
Not yet, but I think I'd rather keep it for a new driver I'm receiving next week. For the right offer... Who knows. Results- remarkable. I've missed 3 fairways in the 54 holes I've played so far. I'm a believer, it's just so hard not to fill my playing partners in. Has anyone contacted you about the F insert since they are out of the F until 7/20? By the way what have your results been like?
19. I have installed, removed, and reinstalled many times and get the same result with both of the shotmakers I have and get the same result.
20. does anyone have any suggestions to clean out the inside of the stock matrix shaft from a 9015? I love how I'm hitting the ball, but would love to get rid of the rattle. Acetone? Googone? anything?
21. bettinardi bb-43 hard to find, but great performance.
22. Installation is super easy. I blow grips on so I removed the grip, installed the shotmaker per the video instructions from YouTube, and put the grip back on. Done in less than five minutes.
23. I don't know how much that's worth, but it is a BHB5-SS, which is made from DASS, the same steel used in many Betti tour putters. My dad has a RH version, and it puts a sweet roll on the ball for sure.
24. For me it didn't really affect the flight at all. Peak trajectory may have been 4-5 feet lower, but not a significant amount. The sidespin deadening was remarkable though.
25. Got mine in staturday and had an interminable wait until my 645 tee this morning. Here's the long and short of it, my great shots were epic, my good shots were great, my so so shots went fine (on the edge or just out of the fairway) and my bad shots were still bad. I missed two drives today and they were syill a fairway over. This is not going to turn a total wipe past the ball into perfect contact, but I am still very impressed and can't wait to play it again.
