  1. They offer free hemming if you buy in-store (not sure about online). Prices are decent to really good when stuff goes on sale... and they go on sale a lot. I wear a lot of their pants due to the fact they regularly carry pants with 34" inseams. I have several pairs of their slim-ft chino's and dry tech pants that i also wear to work and some of their base layer long sleeve shirt/long johns for colder rounds.
  2. I keep going back to my Titleist 910f 3w and Taylormade Vsteel 5w even though i've bought and sold/given away every titleist fairway wood up to the TS/TSi lines. It just works for me.
  3. I've had good luck with uniqlo pants. They're one of the few stores that i know that regularly stock pants with 34" inseams
  4. if you're heading up toward Chico eventually, any of the Napa courses are great, Silverado being my favorite of the three as I volunteer there when they throw the Safeway Open/Fortinet Championship. Yoche is my absolute favorite though. It can actually be pretty cheap if you win your green fees back at the casino later... but you can also make it a lot more expensive if you lose lol
  5. lol i looked at the OP's list and figured he was willing to travel based off of the list he first mentioned
  6. Pasatiempo, Metropolitan, Presidio, Yoche de ha, Silverado, Eagle Vines, Chardonnay
  7. plenty of posts on this topic but in my opinion, it's your gear... do what you want. I can't stand them myself. you're more likely to lose them (ask me how i know). As far as clubs dragging in your truck, just put the rain cover for your bag on before putting them in the bed/cab/trunk
  8. I don't remember seeing that putter when I was the standard bearer for his pro am group at the Fortinet Championship in Napa this year. Then again, i was more impressed with his jordan v shoes then anything he had in his bag
  9. this. I was just practicing on it 10 min ago while on a conference call. i bought a cheap, amazon knock off though
  10. 1. City, State? Fairfield, CA 2. Handicap? 17 3. Current Irons? Titleist 714 AP2 4. How would the Launcher XL Halo irons help your game? My irons and approach game in general has fallen apart the last year. I could definitely use some more forgiveness
  11. 1. City, State Fairfield, California 2. Current Driver: Titleist TS2 3. Handicap: 17 How could a Cleveland Launcher XL Lite driver help your game: I'm always looking for more forgiveness and length off of the tee. I'm hoping the increased swing speed i can get from the XL Lite driver will help
  12. 1. City, State? Fairfield, California 2. Handicap? 17 3. How would the Apex Utility Wood fit into your bag? Currently using an old Vsteel 5 wood. This club would potentially be its replacement 4. Why do you want to test the Callaway Apex Utility Wood? I prefer the look of a 5 wood and have had issues with hybrids for as long as i started experimenting with them. I hope the neutral ball flight for the Callaway will help keep my shots more on the fairway rather then the left-side rough 5. Do you agree to take high quality photos, write an in-depth review, and be part of an on-going testing thread? Of course!
  13. 1. City, State? Fairfield, California 2. Handicap? 16 3. What is your current putter? Scotty Cameron Select 2012 Newport 34.5" 4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter? No 5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter? I love putters and would love to actually try a L.A.B. putter after reading so much about them 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes
  14. I bought a nike zip-up, dri-fit hoodie not too long ago on sale for $30. it's slim fitting and i found it didn't encumber my swing any more than my other golf jackets and pullovers.
  15. adidas sells/sold rain gear for tall guys. I had a pair of L-L rain pants on BST last month
  16. Most of the guys i play golf with are good friends of mine. the fact that we are golfers is just another reason for us to hang out. I did experience this when i was playing basketball either at parks or in rec leagues during my early 20's to mid 30's. I got called or texted invites to join rec league teams or local tournaments. After games we maybe went out to eat but more often than not, everyone left to go home or do their own thing. Most of the guys are/were pretty chill. We just never had what i would consider a good-friend relationship
  17. over training in general can lead to injuries. having a violent swing didn't help either. i don't know enough about his every day training regimen or diet but doing those two things right can help prolong your athletic career... just not indefinitely. It happens to the best of them, eventually your body will tell you its done before your mind ever will
  18. 1. City, State? Fairfield, California 2. Handicap? 15.3 3. Right or Left handed? Right 4. What is your current iron set? Titleist 714 AP2 5. How could the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo irons help you game? Increased forgiveness and length is always nice 6. Do you agree to post a driver review on the Cleveland website? Yes if you want to also send me a driver, but I will definitely submit an iron review, too 7. Do you agree to take high quality photos, write an in-depth review, and be part of an on-going testing thread? Yes
  19. i have a grey and a coyote-brown pair. these are more stretchy slim then true skinny for me. Not sure what you would consider "jeansey" OP, but the cut is definitely for jeans but the materials aren't. I've worn both on course a few times and my only regret is i wish i bought more pairs. They were cheap at the time... less than $20 each but they didn't have any more colors in the size i needed
