  1. Audio sounds like someone is crumpling a wrapper
  2. Played Fox Lake CC yesterday. That’ll be a one and done for me. Didn’t like the layout or the price for the cow pasture it is. What was it like prior to the year or two it was closed? This was my first time playing it as I wouldn’t choose a cart only courses.
  3. Played Blackstone today. Glad it’s an early season round, lots of rust. Had booked 2 spots and they turn us into a five some on the tee. Wasn’t too thrilled with the 4:30 pace. They seemed pretty busy today, it’s going to be another summer of packed tee sheets the way I see it.
  4. I don’t know that they would lose any revenue, you still pass the snack shack 2x. I’ve yet to go in the clubhouse at the turn, patio is great though for after the round.
  5. I’ve always thought they should criss cross the course at the snack bar. That way you can make 10 the 1st hole and still finish on the regular 18 at the clubhouse. Would make 1 the new 10th.
  6. Played prairie isle. Can’t tell you how many single carts were out with perfectly fine looking people. Surprised my clubs came home at all. Hit a lot of solid shots that were not good. Greens were phenomenal though. Wish I could say as much about my putting.
  7. I think if you have a state issued handicap placard they’d accept it as proof. Just what I read somewhere.
  8. Yes. All show the same date on mobile in portrait mode. When I rotate to landscape mode it shows correctly It been buggy since the update.

  10. We’ve been teeing off at 6:30 and done by 9:45. Earlier in the year we were at 8 and done by 11:30-12

Course has large sloped greens which have to be kept on the slower side. Also not bent grass. Great course to be able to get out pretty much whenever you show up if you’re out as a single. There is no alcohol allowed on the course. Front is longer than the back. Plays 6350 from the blues and 6850 from the golds. Some good holes and some straightforward holes. Has a short driving range that’s bring/pick your own balls. I usually play Sunday m
  12. I would have to concur. Stay away from lakemoor. If there’s anything below a goat track that’s it.

I’ve always thought it’s a bit under rated based on the greens and that long par 3. Which can be tough for a mid teens handicapper like myself. I do realize it’s a par 71. But I feel like the

I would love to hear how they came up with those numbers. How do you guys feel about shepherds crook’s rating. I’ve always thought it’s a bit under rated based on the greens and that long par 3. Which can be tough for a mid teens handicapper like myself. I do realize it’s a par 71. But I feel like the slope should be a bit higher.
