1. I noticed that too. Do you think it had anything to do with the report that came out early last week that he isn't well-liked on tour? Either way, I thought it was a classy gesture. Just hope it didn't seem fake to other people because I could see how it could be taken that way.
 2.

I think the stat that he was second to last in fairways hit and still shot -5 is impressive. I know there isn't any rough at Augusta and not much penalty for being out of the fairway, but he hit it all over the place off the tee for most of the four days and still played decently well. If he can figure out his tee problems ( a big IF considering it's been an issue for quite a while), then I think he will have a chance to compete in the final three majors.
Problems with the driver are a recurring thing on major weekends with Tiger. I know he was rusty this time, but it is not exactly a new trend. Too many wayward drives and too many missed putts in the final rounds. That is post-2008 of course. Seems to me like he is trying too hard, doesn't look as composed as he used to. The technique that he had the other days seems to desert him because he is swinging too fast. Although he has obviously never won a major from behind, so chasing has always been a problem for him.
You are right. Driver has been a big issue for some time, and he doesn't hole crucial putts nearly as often now. The two putts he missed on 6 and 7 Saturday to really build some momentum are prime examples of putts he used to make to keep his round going. And I agree he seems to try too hard. His tempo and control on Friday and the beginning of Saturday were really nice. But when he starts pressing, it's like he loses all of that and balls start flying everywhere. Not really sure why he thinks or feels the need to get his "pop" back. Being 285-290 off the tee and in the fairway should be plenty good for him considering how good he's always been with his iron play. I guess his ego won't let him play a more controlled style. I think he still has the ability to win majors, but at this point, I feel like his ego may prevent that, which seems ironic considering his ego would love to break Jack's record.

Irreconcilable differences kind of makes it sound that way...
Doubtful. From the story I was told, she's in love some some other dude now.
Another PGA Tour player perchance?? SPILL THE BEANS!!!
I was told it was some tatted up, muscle bound meathead (those exact words), but I have no clue who it is. He definitely isn't on tour.

I have no clue who he is though.

 8.
This is what was hinted the other day in the Valero thread after I said Dufner looks lost on the course. http://www.golfwrx.c...0#entry11229801 I just hope he is able to get over the gold digger and get back on track on the course.
Hopefully, he can get back to form now with this behind him and play well at Augusta. That would be a nice way to send her off.
 9. Well, that didn't take long. Guess I have to change my avatar now.

He's not been the same since his injury and after losing that weight.
I think there's more to it than that.
Other than his putting?
His putting has always been suspect, and I don't think that will change. There have been some rumors going around town. Nothing bad, illegal, or anything he's done wrong. But, if the rumors are true, it would seem difficult for him to focus on the golf course. I have no idea if they are true or not, but it would make sense that it could play a part in his really inconsistent play.
If your not in a position to post the full story then don't post anything at all or your fair game to condescending posts.
Thanks for the message board lesson.

I would put my main focus on wrist hinge and deeper turn before worrying about downswing. If the hips turn deeper gives your arms more time to get down in front.
I'm going to put it to use this afternoon. Hopefully, it will help time everything up a little better. I have a tendency to get anxious near the top of my swing and rush into the downswing trying to beat my lower body from getting ahead.
The lower body gets ahead, because it doesn't get back enough. Small margin of error to sequence properly.
Good stuff. Looking forward to putting it to use.
