  1. Ugh! I submitted my order within 10 seconds of them coming live on the website and didn't get them...
  2. @balladm is right about Forest Hills. Historic Donal Ross course that Arnold Palmer Design screwed up about 15 years ago. It was always in marginal condition but they hired the greenskeeper away from Champions Retreat and he has really improved the condition, especially the greens. I also agree with @Sixcat. Palmetto is a fabulous course that is open to the public that one week. It is, however, another 30 minutes past Augusta. Or if you want to spend a bunch of money, you can play Champions Retreat or Augusta County Club. But it'll cost you somewhere around $2,400 per foursome. Appreciate you all. So the question here is, removing the travel variable and just looking at golf course: What is the better value? Forest Hills at $175/pp or Palmetto at $300/pp? I travel to Augusta quite a bit for work and I try to play Forest Hills whenever I'm in town. I think I paid maybe $35 to play it last time. I would never pay $175. I'd say the greens are better than the average public course, but the other course conditions are about average in my opinion. Palmetto for $300 would definitely be my choice.
  3. I live in Atlanta and would love to make it up there for a few this winter.
  4. I have two TeeOff.com $100 gift card codes. I just called TeeOff.com and verified the expiration date is June 30, 2019. I am asking $75 OBO for each code or $140 OBO for both. I will send you the codes immediately after I receive payment. It appears you cannot carry a balance on these codes, so you have to use the full $100 of each code when you book. Codes can only be applied to "DEAL" tee times. Thanks for looking! Jordan
  5. That looks awesome. So is the blue as dark as it appears in your photo? The photo CBNBAC posted looks more like royal blue. I really want the blue, but only if it is dark.
  6. RBC Heritage would be my vote. It was not overly crowded when I went on Saturday last year, and they do a great job of managing shuttles and logistics. Depending on where you're coming from you could spend time in Savannah and Hilton Head. As others have said, April is a great time to be in that area.
  7. Shot 43 in a scramble with string before. Lots of string. :)
  8. The Georgia Club for sure. They have 27 holes there. Echelon is a wonderful course and very challenging. I'd throw in Brasstown Valley as well. Haven't played it in a couple of years, but it has always been in great shape when I've played it and it's hard to beat the views. Achasta is great - a Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Can't go wrong with Reynolds Plantation.
  9. Thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions. I thought I'd give you all an update on what we decided to do. My buddy and I grabbed the last remaining double room at the Manor Inn in early May and will be doing the Donald Ross Package! We'll be playing No. 8 and No. 2 on Friday and then No. 7 on Saturday before driving back home. We are really excited!
  10. Got randomly paired with Olympic gold medalist Antonio McKay at a local public course in my area. Probably the nicest and most positive person I've ever met. Definitely one of my most memorable rounds.
  11. Brasstown Valley is one my favorite courses - definitely check it out.
  12. I just checked Talamore's website and it appears that you can get on Mid South. Thanks for the tip.
  13. I'd pay $900 per year just for a driving range if I had the opportunity. Nothing like that exists in my area. I'd go for it.
  14. Reynolds Lake Oconee is another option. Might be a little pricey and lacking in the nightlife aspect.
  15. I played Oyster Reef last July and it was very different from July 2016 when I played it. They lost some 1,000 or so trees in the recent hurricanes.
  16. Also recommend this place for pizza and beer: https://localpie.com/
  17. You could get one of the private rooms at the Links restaurant inside the Harbour Town clubhouse. We've done this the last couple of years for dinner. Would be the perfect size for your group. We've always had a great experience.
  18. That makes sense. That's a good excuse to go for the new Stealth wedge with AWT.
  19. I'm in the market for a new 60* wedge and have decided to go with the ES grind from Ping to match my Ping Glide 54 standard sole. I figured I'd get the same shaft in the 60 that's currently in my 54 Glide and ran into some confusion. According to Ping's website the Glide wedges come with CFS shafts, but my Glide 54 (purchased new from PGATSS) has an AWT 2.0 shaft in it. According the to the Ping website the AWT 2.0 shafts are only in the Glide 2.0 wedges, not the original Glide. I'm not really picky about the shaft, just curious why my 54 would have a shaft that isn't listed on Ping's website for that model. Thoughts?
  20. Up for sale is a pair of Travis Mathew shorts in excellent condition. No imperfections. Black color and size 30. The waistband has the stretch feature built in so I imagine they would fit a range of waist sizes. Thanks for looking! $35 OBO shipped CONUS.
