Hah. That’s my deck railing in the photo. I posted here. Someone else must have posted it to Reddit.
  2. Hah, just the honor of 1st photo in this mega thread is enough :) . Also happy they weren't quite as shiny white as the KS3. Didn't smell as much as the OG when coming out of the box, just a little.
  3. I already had a cut KSig3 and OG KSig. Now the trio is complete (yes I sacrificed a brand new one). Front/back shots. Sorry the KS3 and OG are a bit old/dirty. Looking good that the cover isn't too thick.
  4. Sync does work great, I have one. Problem is no legs for when at range that doesn't have bag stands. I recently bought a Ogio Alpha Convoy 514 RTC (Range to Cart) bag. So far really liking it. Flat top so works well in riding cart and also on push cart. Don't have to turn woods/irons around like I did in my Sync bag. Its a little odd having the wedges near my back when riding instead of by the putter, but honestly its just not that big a deal and you want them in those places anyway for when you are using the stand on the range. You don't want wedges hitting your graphite shafts, etc. Also love the magnetic carry handle that allows you to easily detach it so you can stow the strap when riding or when on my powered push cart. TGW runs a sale every few weeks on these. List is $300 but got mine for $240 on sale.
  5. I switched from G30 19 and 22 to G410 19 and 22 with Ping Tour 85 R shafts. I hit all the stock shaft offerings and this one was by far the best match for me. Feel is incredible. Much straighter flight. I have lost the big hooks I sometimes had with the G30. Definitely longer than the G30's too. Love them. So easy to hit. Getting 190-210 with the 22 and 205-225 with the 19.
  6. I had a CartTek and returned it. It was the fancier 1500LTD model. Way to tippy on anything but flat ground and it had issues with some of the parts (umbrella holder getting loose). It was also pretty slow compared to all other power carts others had at our club. I now have an MGI Zip Navigator and its the best thing since sliced bread. Super easy to use, durable, very stable on anything reasonable but on very steep inclines need to hold it but that is normal with any of these really. Costco now sells them. If you don't want remote (the Navigator is the best handling remote I've ever seen), then get one of the models without it. Love my MGI.
  7. Got mine today. Did drop test in garage and they both seem to bounce similarly high. When dropping them one at a time, you can hear that MTB Black being a little softer and the X being a little harder. Hard to explain. Now to figure out which one I'll start hoarding. Likely to be the Black as I had previously did a test pack of Red/Black and preferred the Black. Just felt better and hit and stopped vs doing any unnecessary extra dancing on the green. I also prefer a slightly softer feel.
  8. Called UST, they said the 17459 part is their model line, etc. Its totally a custom build for Ping though and uses Ping specs so you can't really directly compare it to anything in their commercial catalog.
  9. Thanks much. Mine should finally show up on Monday, ordered on 7th. Agonizingly long wait. How long did yours take to come in?
  10. Well you aren’t allowed to change the setup on the course. Its about setting it up to be the best for your set. Gapping, etc. You should get fit for it, set it up to fit your gap and swing and just enjoy.
  11. Just spoke to Ping, they said that they have different manufacturers build for them and its custom specs so it won't match up to anything on anyone's site. I suppose that's possible, but sounds like what they'd say b/c they don't want to say exactly what it is too. I'm hoping to get a look under the grip and call whoever is there with the serial # of the shaft to ask.
  12. Thanks. I hit the Tensei R and Evenflow Black 5.5 and stock R and S. Stock S was better than R for me. Tour R was the ticket, much better feel and strikes were much more consistent. Tensei R just didn't feel right to me. Evenflow Black was ok but didn't feel like the ball was taking off well and the results showed it on the monitor. Perhaps the Evenflow Blue would have been better but they didn't have it to try and it is an upcharge from Ping. I was about 89-90 MPH with 22 degree and was getting like 200-210 carry. Dispersion was so tight with the Tour 85R I had to get it. Just really want to know what it is specifically or if its totally custom for Ping from UST.
  13. Chrome is discontinued and also didn't appear to have a hybrid model?
  14. Anyone know what this shaft specifically is? I've heard UST Mamiya likely makes it. None of the weights line up but I assume Ping is listing trimmed weights while UST shows untrimmed weights. I'm guessing its either a Recoil ES or Prototype or Proforce V2. Thoughts?
