  1. Looks like modified Stableford to me. We play this w larger groups.
  2. Are these available in the US as of yet? Would love to test. And if people are willing to spend $400-500 for Ventus or other high end shafts like myself, I would be a buyer for an additional $250...I switched to ventus a couple months ago and got me an extra 10-15 yards with exact same head.
  3. One word: Epons if you’re considering JDM and haven’t hit the Epons you’re doing yourself a disservice.
  4. Not by a long shot. My wife is all about horses. Makes my golf habit look VERY cheap.
  5. People who plan on going to Bandon right now need a serious head check. Reschedule gents.
  6. Untrue in the case of some of the private clubs.
  7. I always thought it was unfair for lower handicappers complements of ESC were able to in essence post lower scores due to max score on each hole. Always thought it was a way to keep high handicappers high and lower handicappers an advantage on the score card. New max scoring is simpler or more equitable in my opinion.
  8. I had terrible service elbow issues for 2-3 years, tried virtually every band, stretching exercise and crazy internet suggestions but nothing worked. From my limited medical knowledge, my right elbow had a detached muscle which explained my pain level and also explained why bands or other treatments other than surgery would not wok here. Opted for surgery for right elbow. Did this where they literally tie the the detached muscle to the bone. It was microscopic surgery but rehab still took 3-4 months and a bit painful. second surgery was a couple years later on left elbow. Opted for somethi
  9. I would agree. No one can convince me that Langer is not anchoring. Same for a guy we play with occasionally and seeing it up close, the guy is definitely anchoring. Tough to prove and also a case of me not wanting to call a friend out on it, but easy to see it. Unsure why with all the rules around equipment they don’t simply limit the length of the putter.
  10. Years back I was fixated on getting a set of Miuras. Fitter hands me an Epon 502 iron and I was blown away. For me it was night/day difference with Miuras having very little feel for me while the Epons were beyond soft. Longest I’ve ever stayed with a set of irons because they were just that accurate both in terms of dispersion and distance. Just recently bought a set of black 705’s and also love em. it’s a personal choice. You need to hit each one side by side.

Found that I’m better at just going through the protocols without a ball because anytime I tee a ball up with this contraption on, my club goes crashing into the ball. Also had one of our local pros try the PM and then try to hit balls and he couldn’t do it just justice as well. > > > > > > > > >

There will be some good bids. Craziness! And the bidding is just beginning. You could sell your used PM today for easily $100 profit and simply wait a cpl weeks until new stock comes in. Treat yourself and the wife (or significant other!) to a nice steak dinner:)

  19. So I combined my PM drills especially around shallowing the club with GG moves and for the first time, the “relax” part of the Downswing with the PM felt natural to me. Basically, what GG puts out there in vid below is rotating using the left femur (aka your leg!) and hence opening up the left side with real rotation and makes for a whole different (positive) feel for me. You can check out the vid below but when I do the leg movements GG talks about in the last few mins of the video, it just naturally allows my club to shallow and I don’t have to think much about softening wrists or lo
  20. Funny part for me is that I think I’m actually a decent player from a divot. Sure, all of us get a bit depressed when you’ve hit a great shot down the middle of the fairway only to find your ball in a divot but it’s a much easier shot than it looks.
  21. What do ppl mean when they say stickman arms?
