  1. Just bought this Titleist bag off ebay for $265 plus $65 shipping...interested in views about the bag...also a bit nervous about the sellers negative feedback but took the plunge anyway :russian_roulette: http://www.titleist.co.jp/htm/access/cbsh71/cbsh71_wtgr.html
  2. Going to Pete's in Mineola tomorrow for a driver fitting...I've only heard good things...anyone with experiences they wish to share?
  3. I'm interested in adding a couple inches to my driver shaft...how does one go about doing so? I hit the ball straight, but looking for more distance. Will a longer shaft decrease my spin rate? Current setup: TM R7 460 Tour Matrix Ozik Code-6....45 inches in length. Thanks!
  4. I hate when I get into a foursome of strangers and there's some dope who is more focused on fishing balls out with his goofball retriever than he is on his golf game...just what I need, one more distraction on the golf course. I will go out of my way to avoid playing with people who have ball retrievers in their bags. Fish your own ball out...fine....start trolling for 100 other balls...annoying.

To the original poster: great review, but did you a) love the wedges, b) neutral about them or c) h

  7. so new in fact that no one seems to have em!! Called around and at least in the NY/NJ area, no one currently has.
  8. Somebody call 9-1-1, cuz you got robbed!!!
  9. $100 for two lunches, one dinner, prizes, trophies AND it counts against your minimum??!! Hey, where can I sign up?! Seriously, just sounds like the club just barely covering their costs while trying to build some comraderie in the club.
  10. Plain and simple, they should have NEVER released this unit without having a battery that last for at least one 4-5 hr round....could you imagine a group of engineers and designers NOT having that requirement at the top of their list of functional "must haves"??!! I own the unit and refuse to manually advance holes (kinda defeats the purpose of an automated GPS!) or reduce brightness down to 30%...part 2 to the story is that at my home course they have my front and back nine reversed and I've called them twice on this only to be told they'll take care of it, but nothing as of months later!
  11. o Sebonack - easily the best I've ever played in the US...in the Hamptons...about $500K to join:http://www.sebonack.com/ o Old Head (Ireland) - I think it beats Pebble Beach by a long shot and the only golf course I've ever seen that charges non-golfers to walk the course because it's just that perfect....crashing waves along a magnificent coast line...ck out the pics, it will blow your mind:http://oldhead.com/ o Hamilton Farms - great layout and the service is tremendous. o Cap Cana in Dominican Republic - some claim this is better than Pebble as well and if you've never done a guys trip t
  12. Lose the attitude!!...on a very serious note, I went from a so-so putter to one of the best at the club just by truly believing I can sink any put from anywhere on the green...probably just tricking the ole brain, but it really does work.
  13. Just bought mine as well!...never saw so many positive comments about a training aid...plan to use it in combination with my newly purchased Explanar (can you say Y.E.Yang!), so I have now bought one of the most expensive training aids along with one of the cheapest. One issue I did have was when I hit "Pay Now", never came back with a confirmation...I did however receive a confirm via email, so hoping that does the trick(?)
  14. I'm amazed at the crap inserts that even the most expensive shoes have in them...I've resorted to a $30-40 insert for all my shoes to make them more comfortable...if you use what the manufacturers have in the shoe, you are truly playing a shoe that's less comfortable and potentially performs substandard.
