  1. 4 wood, all day every day. I have a hole at my club that is super tight with water left and OB right. If you hit a bad tee shot it can be a round killer.
  2. I'm probably going to hate it, but I picked up an OG Sim to try out. I can always sell it if I don't like it. The G400 Max still likes to hit a straight pull instead of a pull cut far more often than I would like.
  3. You're delusional and in denial. Have fun spending tons of cash on different drivers and getting the same results time after time. Wait...is this really Bryson?
  4. Nobody has told you to change your swing. Just change your setup and make the same damn swing. I can hit draws and fades at will with my driver with the same swing. The only thing that changes is the setup. If you're hitting fades, it's because you are somehow setting up to hit a fade. Learn the setup to hit a draw (and then actually make the proper changes, because doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity) and then watch in amazement as the ball curves the other way for you. It really is that simple. It's not an equipment issue. It's a you issue. Like it or not, that's the deal.
  5. So are your hands. Just grip your driver with the face closed. It couldn't be any simpler than that. If your current setup leaves the face open at impact, then change your setup. In this case, your grip.
  6. Damn. Nice man cave! I'm jealous A.F.!!!
  7. I just put my SLDR 14* mini driver back in the bag after not using it for most of the year. Aldila NV 2KXV green 75X tipped 1" and if I remember correctly I built it to a 42" playing length, but it might be 42.5". I was crushing it the other day and wondered why the hell I ever took it out of the bag. I use mine as an alternative to driver on tighter holes where keeping it in play is crucial.
  8. 4mm is only 5/32", or just barely more than 1/8". That is not a lot of offset for a 3 iron. And the offset gets progressively less as you go from long irons to short irons. The KZG's are a damn fine set of irons suitable for the best of ball strikers.
  9. I have seen this scenario myself with Dynamic Gold. I tried a set of X200 and they actually ballooned on me, yet I hit S300 very well. I think the X200 changed my delivery somehow to where I was spinning the ball like crazy.
  10. We are talking Tour V 125 vs Tour V 120 right? Not KBS 125 vs Tour V 120? Because I guarantee you the Tour V 125 is stiffer than the Tour V 120. Call KBS and they will verify that for you, because they are the folks that told me. I was told that if I wanted the same stiffness as the Tour V 120 with the Tour V 125 that I should soft step them once or even twice. They are a definitely not softer than the Tour V 120.
  11. I've played both the Tour V 120 and 125, and I can tell you the 125 is MUCH stiffer than the 120. Never tried a PX 6.5, but I hate the feel of 6.0 and I doubt there's much difference between them feel-wise. The Tour V is a great feeling shaft to me. I love the feel of DG and to me the Tour V has a similar feel.
  12. I'm not a snowflake, so no safe space needed. I may do some paradiddles, though. Just got a new electronic drum kit and it definitely brings out the creativity. I guess I might be a bit on edge right now. My grandfather just died a few days ago and one of my uncles is in the ICU on a ventilator with covid. Maybe I'm a little oversensitive at the moment.
  13. This drummer graduated college with a 4.0 GPA and keeps time very well, thank you.
  14. The guys at my club won't let anyone play through even if it's wide open ahead of them. It happens on not-busy weekdays all the time. They're just a-holes who think they're entitled, plain and simple.
  15. You wouldn't happen to be one of the guys not letting faster golfers play through, would you? Lol. You seem pretty riled up about us complaining about the lack of etiquette. Mind you, what you said is funny as hell, but I don't exactly get where you're coming from.
  16. I have a feeling that is all one piece, at least that's what it looks like from those two pics. I could be wrong though. Only way to find out is to heat it up with a torch and see if that threaded part will come out. Don't overheat it or you will discolor the metal. And wear thick leather work gloves so you don't burn the s#!t out of your hands. If that is just some sort of sleeve that is epoxied in the head, it will come out easy enough.
  17. If using taper-tip shafts, yes the shims will still be necessary. If using parallel-tip shafts, they won't be needed.
  18. I routinely play by myself riding a cart and usually get 18 holes done in about 2 hours 15 minutes. This is of course dependent on nobody being ahead of me and getting in my way. Otherwise, it might take 4+ hours to play because most of the d-bags at my country club won't let anyone play through. I tell ya, I've had enough of the entitled BS. Definitely not rejoining next year.
  19. Buy however many PXG ferrules you need from Billy Bob's. Insert a steel shaft into each ferrule and use a utility knife to cut off the collar where it meets the body of the ferrule. Use the separated collar to take up the space at the top of the hosel. Then use whatever ferrule you like to do the build. It's not rocket science.
  20. I bent a full set of Launcher HB Turbo irons with no problems. My L/L machine is a Golfsmith professional model and it clamped them just fine. I found the stock lie angle to be too upright and bent the full set at least a couple degrees flatter. I think I also adjusted the loft on a few of them. This is after I called Cleveland and they told me I didn't need to send them in to be adjusted.
  21. I got my mixer today, so FedEx still has a pretty good record with me. I'm not going to make a fuss about my package being one day late.
  22. Okay, it looks like the shipping label on my package got messed up and had to be replaced, so it has been delayed until Monday. This is really the first time I have had any issues with FedEx, and it's only one business day. The package is in Kansas City, so it will definitely make it to me Monday, which is certainly not a big deal. But, their near-perfect record for me has taken a minor hit. Still much better service than the USPS in my experience.
