First of all I just want to thank David Franklin, Mike Taylor, Dave Stockton, Dave Stockton Jr, and last but not least Andre Cota. The Eyes on the Event has happened the past two years and it has been a great event that helps a great charity. Sometimes we as people don't realize how lucky we are. Originally I was planning on not going, but having the opportunity to support a charity that is near to David's heart made it important for me. Well that was my short blurb.

Thanks. Hard not to get emotional with event like this. I didn't know that 80% of people that are blind have low vision. The disease we are helping is with people that can see peripherally but can't see in front of them. Too long to explain but some of the people I spent the weekend with have the most positive attitudes dealing with things we take for granted. For example Yvonne, she spent time with us and we got to know her... Because of this eye wear she can see her family. Without it she didn't know what her baby looked like. One thing to worry about is the weather....it looks like rain Christmas week...and there is a 7 day cancellation period. I'm still going to play in the rain though.
